Do you think a player who's on £50k a week plus any other perks his agent can squeeze out of the deal really looks at a map and then decides who to sign for? If this deal does get scuppered its because someone leaked the name/club/ and even the terms of the deal before it was cut and dried. White has previous. And he knows it.
Do you really think that a player's agent only talks to one club at a time? If he goes to WBA its because they offered him a better deal. Just like we did in the Summer for Diame.
It's White's job to leak these details though. It's Bruce and the club's job to deal with that and still be able to sign players. It's a level playing field; every media outlet wants to break news on any team's signing and wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't.

Mike White can't accept any criticism of journalists, Radio Humberside or himself. His spalt with Anthony Gerrard over WWE was utterly pathetic and embarrassing from a grown man.
Anyone blaming White here is just plain wrong I'm afraid. It is the job of every journalist in the world to find the story whereas it is those protecting the story's job to stop the media getting it. If Radio Humberside, or any other media outlet, break a story that alerts another club to a player's availability then it is not the media's fault. Plain, simple FACT and the club should be looking to stop the incessant leakage we get from within. Or if it came from the other end, then dont deal with that club or agent again. I think Mike White is a grade-A dick, his tweeting about NFL and the faux passion he feels for it is cringeworthy, but he is completely in the right here.
Well I 100% agree with that. I've met him loads of times and he's as big a cock as you'd expect him to be. I remember his tweet along the lines of "it's going to be carnage in our house as I support the 49ers who are now meeting my wife's team Arkansas Bubblejet (or whatever) in the NFL play-offs".
