Join the debate at #bbcdeadlineday Posted at The transfer deadline joke sightings are already upon us... Mr Lancaster: Just seen Harry Redknapp at my local car wash. Looks like the range rover is set for a big day. Neil Rigby: Just seen Ronaldinho walking up Walton Lane asking about dentists and estate agents. No smoke... Chris, Wirral: Sheffield Wednesday participating in their first ever deadline day following takeover by Thai seafood consortium. Connor Sammon, James Perch both linked.... I'm hoping for Messi! Glad Catts isn't too bad. I feel any incoming depends on Cabral being shifted. If he can be shifted a bit more pace would be nice.
I think you're right mate, even with Mavrias gone that wouldn't be enough to allow someone to come in, we need to shift A.N.Other and most probably Cabral. I'd still take Rosiscky if he was available like, yes he's 'mature' but still capable and would really add something to our midfield. Agreed though, we do need pace.
Wonder if Sky will keep to their threat of keeping their journalist away from 'the fans ' today? http://metro.co.uk/2015/01/27/fans-...fter-dildo-and-sex-toy-interruptions-5038302/ anyone know if any cameras are being set up outside the SOL ?
Aaron Lennon's proposed Deadline Day move from Tottenham to Hull is OFF. The winger looked set to seal a switch to Humberside for the rest of the season, with a view to a permanent £7million deal in the summer, should the Tigers retain their Premier League status. However, talks appear to have broken down between Lennon and the Premier League strugglers, and he will not be making the move before tonight's 11pm deadline. The news could alert Everton, Swansea, Stoke and Sunderland, who have all shown interest in the player.

all seems pretty boring so far ... such as Huth to Leicester - even Jim White will struggle later for enthusiasm for what looks likely to be a damp squib of day
Yakubu to reading, hate jim white me like, especially when he makes his entrance, i could swear he's high? Constantly gurning
Sampdoria are interested in signing former Sunderland man Modibo Diakite. The defender joined Sunderland in June 2013 as a free transfer under former manager Paulo Di Canio. However, he was shipped out on loan to Fiorentina almost as soon as Gus Poyettook over in January that year and he had his contract ripped up by mutual agreement in September 2014, allowing him to join Deportivo La Coruna. The 27-year-old Frenchman now appears to have rebuilt his reputation enough for Sampdoria to be interested in snapping him up on transfer deadline day.
