I am not going to compare the two of them but Bruce's distribution is shocking, to say it is PL quality is nothing but a joke. He is a decent defender who hasn't done anything particularly wrong at the moment but if we are to make the step up into an established PL side Bruce isn't good enough and neither would Hobbs be.

**** me Alex doesnt even play and he gets a load of **** on here.

If SB was so desperate to play him he could have gone 3-5-2 and done just that yesterday.

Alex gives 100% every game he plays, unlike some of yesterdays boys. The poor bastard will stick his head, foot, body in anywhere and would die for the cause which is something we should acknowledge and not give him grief for. I seem to remember another player who although not technically gifted would also show the same level of commitment game after game. That certain individual has cult status on here so lets give Alex a bit of the credit he deserves also.

You've got to admirer Pearce timing less than 48 hours before the window shut's.

Should never have been appointed in the first place, he's been absolutely ****ing abysmal at every management job he has ever had. Why do people keep giving him a chance - because he shouted a lot on the pitch and looked angry? Florist got everything they deserved here.

Pearce was more then a shouter on the pitch , he lead by example more often then not and was the best left back around in his era. You can see why Forest gave him the job although his record at management level isn't great by any stretch. Lets face it if we was to give Ashbee a management role in the future most would say what a great appointment but no guarantees he would cut it , just saying .

I didnt say he shouldnt have been given his first chance at management so it's not comparable with Ash in any way. It was fine to give him his first at Forest - where he was terrible - and then even the Man City job, where he was one of the worst managers the top flight has ever seen spending his entire allocated budget on one player and then playing him in a position where he has never played before to the extent that said player came out in the media and asked what the hell was going on? But then to give him the Under 21s, where he ****ed up with an absolute stellar set of young talent, but then for Forest to give him ANOTHER go was just ridiculous.
