The team as a whole has done marvellously for us so far, so have no intention of blaming anyone. However well you play, there is always an element of chance...you can't win them all.
Just one of those days. However, after allowing Shelvey all the time in the world to crash a shot against the post shortly before, we then allow him to have another ****ing shot from 25 yards. CLOSE THE ****ER DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not bloody rocket science.
Disappointed with the result but not particularly angry, we're not all of a sudden so good that it's an outrage if a mid-table team comes and sits in their own half and nicks a win with a low-percentage effort from outside the box. What I did find infuriating were those in the ground groaning/jeering our own players for having the audacity to make such heinous crimes as not picking out the pass they saw from their perfect viewpoint up in the stands, or not 'having a go' from 35 yards out and instead retaining possession from as early as the 60th minute. Seriously, if you're going there as a supporter and you're jeering your own team you are either an idiot or have no control whatsoever of your emotions.
About time we mugged you - you've done similar to us too often. Needless to say you need to take chances to stay top 4. As we won't do that it would be good for the Premier League if Southampton could break into the club. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Both Fonte and Davis closed him down (well Fonte didn't press him but he squared up and made him turn into Davis), he just found no more than a yard of space and got a good strike away.
Well, I imagine it's been written several hundred times, but my golly, Tadic was poor today. 1st half felt bad for him because the full back was right up his arse, but 2nd half when he had more time, his deliveries were woeful. And... Learn to use your ****ing right foot!! Other than him I think most played well. Davis, Reed, the two cb's were all very good.
Well, that was ****. Sorry, but Ron got it wrong today taking Reed off. As for Bertrand, never seen him lose his cool like that - normally so composed too.
Looking back, not convinced it was a red card: Thought it was at the game, but now not sure. His reaction to it however, was stupid.
One of those days - a day that is ****. That's football, but we should have created more and scored. Disappointing, frustrating, but football, and you have divine right to win any game.
First time I've seen that red card back - looks a bit soft to me, especially considering the ball was there to be won. Thought Oliver favoured Swansea today, but that said, it wasn't him who failed to close down Shelvey - twice.
I was right in front of it, and the ball was there to be won - no malice from Bertrand I don't think. Harsh red card.
Maybe so, but Bertrand's lunge was wild and out of control, which comes under the criteria for serious foul play.
He could have toe poked it past Barrow. He flew in like a lunatic with a massive follow through . The challenge was a disgrace. The problem with replays is it makes challenges like that look five times better. He launched himself into the challenge.
I assumed the red was for the reaction. Betrand was spoiling fir a fight today, there was a bit of hand bags earlier with their no 58
A couple of players off form today but full credit to Swansea for a good away performance, especially Ashley Williams who was easily MOM. Oh well, not a great sporting day today.
It really wasn't a disgrace. It's a shame the lad has obviously picked up a serious injury, but I really only saw a guy intent on winning us the ball back, and going in to hurt Barrow.
