Way to miss the point. Most on here are season ticket holders, this has nothing to do with what benefits us personally, this is about what's best for the team and that has to be filling the ground. Newcastle was a good turn-out because Newcastle have a lot of fans and it was a Saturday afternoon, if you expect a similar turn-out on a Tuesday night against Villa, then you're mad.
Maybe my memory is failing me, but early in the Allams' involvement with the club, didn't AA say that one of his objectives was to see that the entrance price would drop be 10 quid as a gesture to enhance a " deeper community spirit" through his club ownership ? There's obviously been a lot of water under the bridge ( alienating fans, animosity with the council etc etc), but wouldn't lowering the entrance cost to Category C to boost pay-on-the-day attendance, with the positive boost to home support for such an important match, go a fair way to mending some of the bad feeling "lost" fans have acquired. It seems such a win-win move, or is he so stubborn that he can't see it's to his benefit ? For such a gesture could be worth tens of millions of quid in the not too distant future.
People who wouldn't pay 35 quid to watch a game sure as hell won't suddenly turn up if it was 25, or even 15. Baffles me, as most of them live on the ****ing doorstep, try adding in a 300 mile round trip to every home game. The sort of people who won't pay £35 are the type who would sit there just quietly watching the game too, occasional tut, or moan. Do you want the stadium full of them?
The sort of people who refuse to pay £35 are exactly the types we want, it's the 'Premier League at all cost' ****ers like you that are the ones we don't want.
That's bollocks. I pay £16 but refuse to pay £35/£50 for a match (with the exception of QPR cause I was in London that weekend). People pay what they can afford or if they believe they are getting value for money. Do you think Hudd (assuming he was a average earner) would pay £35 to watch players not breaking sweat.

Ideal game to hand out a bundle of tickets to local schools . I would let school kids in for FREE. OR do bring any one 16 or under for a quid .
Fortunately, the club realise they've ****ed up the pricing this season and the games won't be £16/35/50 next season, they'll start higher and finish lower and there'll be more flexibility to amend prices on fixtures like Villa on a Tuesday night.
I know for a fact many locals still at school don't go because they can't afford it...Took one of the juniors friends yesterday ....first time they had been this season though she wears a city shirt and supports Hull City....parents can't afford to take her....she sung and shouted like a good un She would go to all home games if she could afford it like many of the juniors friends
I'm a bit out the loop on earnings, but i am sure i heard when I was back for Christmas that someone earning minimum wage would take home about 200 quid a week. Is that right ? and for a quess at a typical wage for a bus/truck/van driver, or plumber/joiner/mechanic 350 to 400 a week.
Am I right in thinking there are two important Tuesday games coming up - Aston Villa and Sunderland? Would it not make sense to make them both Cat. C? Imagine the atmosphere against the Mackems with a 23,000 strong crowd at the KC!
I can't talk for the others but I'm just saying the club need to do what they can to fill the stadium for this key game - and if that means lower the £35 ticket price, then so be it.
First thing our new owners need to do is make it possible for young people to get in to games …its ****ing stupid to have so many who want to go to games and empty bloody seats . That's all Bed time
Its 12 quid for under 15's and 8 quid for under 10's Filey how cheap do they have to make it. They arent allowed to give tickets away in the PL are they? Sure someone said that on here
it would help if they let the existing fans get in first- people were pouring into the North Stand for at least 15 to 20 minutes after the match had started because of the entry system
Not at all. My lad pointed out to me on Saturday, that at £35 a ticket, his mates had to decide if they wanted to go and watch City or go out Saturday night. He's 19 and i'm sure it's a decision a lot of lads have to make. We're pricing these lads out of the game, not only are they the future of the club, but they're the one's that make the most noise and the reason the match day experience is getting progressively worse. What makes it really ridiculous, is that ticket revenue only makes up about 4% of our income in the Premier League.
