A week on Tuesday we play Aston Villa in what is quite frankly a season defining must win game, they're just as terrible as we are, with that in mind why in the blue hell are you charging £35 to get in?

They've taken the lowest allocation so can you please engage your brains and change this game to a category C match so we can pack out the ENTIRE north stand and not end up playing infront of our lowest crowd of the season?

Refund the half dozen who have already paid £35 and let's show some common sense for once.

It is ridiculous, there's no way this should be anything other than a Cat C games.

Can't we start a petition to get the category changed and the stadium filled?

If they really want to raise the atmosphere, they need it absolutely packed.

This will fall on deaf ears. I've said all along that although the Allam's are successful in business they do not understand the business of football.

I totally agree with double dragon on this!! I already skipped straight past the villa game when I saw the £35 addmission price and made sure my diary is free for the cat C Qpr game. Does anyone at the club have an ounce of common sence?

It's a huge game but they need to entice people in for this one, two teams that can't hit a barn door on a bitterly cold Tuesday night and they're charging £35!! The atmosphere is always better at night games so what we certainly don't need is N4/N5/N6 completely empty when we desperately need a sell out crowd behind us.

Announcing it's been changed to a category C game on Tuesday morning after the deadline day activity is the way to go.

You mean we should try and persuade some of the "fans" who bravely paid 50 quid for tickets to Wembley twice plus travel costs plus booze for the day to come along in our hour of need.
They didnt come when it was 16 quid for WBA they wouldnt come if it was 16 for Villa. This city doesnt deserve a premier league team. The long suffering fans do but they are only a small minority and not enough of them to sustain us.

I could be wrong, but I suspect they'll argue that from a short term business perspective, less people paying more money makes more profit.

They already are arguing that and it's true that the increased prices are expected to raise an additional £2.5m odd this season, but that ignores the importance of filling the ground.

Once again tight fisted Hull City fans are pleading for football on the cheap. You are deluded if you believe PL games should be £16. Even at £35 you are paying below the market rate. Yes in an ideal world football would be cheaper, but we don't live in an ideal world.

It was £35 yesterday and there weren't that many empty seats in the home end. We have also charged £35 against the likes of Leicester and had decent attendances. I would suggest our poor form and the name change issue is more of a factor than cost in some fans staying away from games. Remember we charged £16 against the likes of Swansea and still had empty seats in the home areas.

Hull City fans have always moaned about the cost of football. Even in the lower divisions they did nothing but moan. Maybe one of the reasons it took so long for us to reach the top flight was because some "fans" were too tight to help the club financially by going to games. I have no doubt that some fans suffer financial hardship, but there are still people out there who come up with any excuse not to attend matches.

I can guarantee that some fans moaning about the cost would, if the Villa game was £16, still not attend. They would moan about the cold weather or having to rush from work without eating their tea.

Why shouldn't the Villa game be £35? It is a massive match between two relegation rivals. The match (unlike the West Ham home match) isn't live on tv. We should be out in force backing the lads, and who, apart from the usual tight wads on here, is to suggest the fans won't be?

P.S. If fans have the means I would suggest investing in a season ticket , then admission cost would not be an issue. You can nowadays pay by direct debit rather pay in one lump sum. But I guess it boils down to how committed you are. Some "fans" would rather spend money on crap rather than show their love to the mighty Tigers.

I think you are missing the point. Most of the seats are already sold to season pass holders, the remainder are taken by those who pick and choose their games. The team needs all the help it can get, a full stadium for the Villa game would help. Charging £35 doesn't help.

FFS £35 to watch that crap. Watching Huddlestone not breaking a sweat for £35k (or whatever he gets per week) you can **** right off. No match is worth £35 notes. We live in Hull not ****ing Kensington
