True. I disagree with him though. Lampard wanted to stay, but the club offered him nothing. Bet they regret that decision now!
It will come out one day but the reality is, Chelsea couldnt afford to keep Lampard and sign others. regardless of what the chelsea fans on here try and claim, their club is a loss making entity who need to sell in order to buy anyone. No sale = no new players. The same applies to wages. having Lampard sign would have meant the money left to try and pay Cesc is reduced massively. They just wouldnt have been able to afford to pay both 100k a week. Its how the world works when your clubs is badly run and must sell before it is able to spend a penny.
