Jelavic was clearly not fit. He shouldnt have been played for the full game.

I think with our current squad we would be better off with Brady up front with Jelly than Unable to score Hernandez

So you think Quinn's the answer? Jesus christ, he has no cutting edge to his game, no pass that is going to hurt the opposition you really think he's the man to give the strikers service?

Maybe if we played with real wide men in a proper 4-4-2 we would create more.

I think he woulda showed more endeavour that Hudd did.
I'd like to see wide men too. Do we have any? Ince showed absolutely nothing yesterday. Didnt look interested, strolled about as though we were winning.

In all fairness mate Ince is thrown on at the ****test times, 2-0 down with half an hour left it's impossible to make an impact, let's hope Lennon is somehow convinced to sign and I'd like to see Lennon on the right and Ince left, Elmo and Robbo full backs.

But I assume Bruce is going to bring in Lennon and play him behind the striker in a 3-5-2, that's what he usually does with wingers isn't it?

Elmo and Robbo as full backs sounds scary.

Well I'd like to see who you want to see at right back, I wouldn't actually mind seeing Figgy at left back but we need all the attacking threat we can get.

I don't think Huddlestone is suited to a 4 man midfield, we all know he is not mobile enough so often finds himself the wrong side of the play, also what is the problem with Dawson and Davies, Davies always looks like Bambi on ice, plus he appears to throw the towel in. We could do worse than play McGuire with Dawson then we would have two centre backs who are comfortable on the ball. I think with our forwards as they stand, I would go to a 4-5-1 as everton used to play, with Jelavic up top and Robertson and Elmo wide in midfield, and have a look at playing Ince or Brady alongside Hudds and Livermore, they should give us extra pace linking up with Jelavic. Whilst I could see what Brucie attempted, he was badly let down by the flakey players in our squad. One final point who recommended Prosy,Sagbo and Hernandez non have done what it says on the packet.

I think we should play someone who works hard and never lets us down, ahead of someone who ambles around looking like he doesn't give a ****.

We don't have a proper right back, or left back available at the moment, but we do have decent wing backs, so I've no idea why we're not playing 3-5-2.

If you think Ince is the answer, we really are ****ed, he's done absolutely nothing to warrant a place in the team.

Elmo came as a wingback / winger and has played as such most of the time. His going forward down the right wing offering an attacking threat is much better than his defending so lets let him do what he does best. As for right back ? we have plenty of defenders surely one of them must better than Elmo in that position.

I don't feel Huddlestone is suited to Hull FULLSTOP

and for me, I would gladly take £3mill for him at the moment and play Diame when he is fit, don't sign Lennon, because Elmo can do what Lennon can do and get a Right back in! easy!

I'm surprised Dawson isn't having a go at Huddlestone for his lack of effort! .....I can't work out if he's Lazy, Unfit or is lacking confidence but my god, he needs replacing, otherwise we are destined to go down without a fight!

Quinn has performed excellently when given a chance in the middle this season.

QPR (a) - Brought on for Snodgrass, completely changed the game, we finally got possession and control of the game.

Everton (a) - Went into the middle in the second half, him and Aluko changed the game and we looked pretty much the best we have all season.

Sunderland (a) - Another great performance and 3pts.

I can't remember too many more chances Quinn has got in that position - he is often (like Meyler) pushed onto the wing for no apparent reason. Quinn is better than Meyler out wide, but both have made the difference and won points for us in the middle. I can't think of any games where Huddlestone and Livermore have made a real difference for us in the last year. Quinn/Meyler make an impact far more often than not.

Elmo is an excellent RB, its just a popular myth on here he isnt any good there. He's a 400metre runner he likes to make long runs, when he does Meyler tucks in to allow him the space to do just that and he gets a cross in. He did it a few times yesterday but, Amoebi played very well and was stationed there to stop him getting involved. As soon as Elmo received it Amoebi was on him. Their LB was good too. Elmo had to constantly pass it back to Dawson/Davies.

Huddlestone does a lot more tackling and tracking back then people care to realise.

Elmo has been brilliant at right back all season, we have two available left backs, 3-5-2 never works for us it hasn't for a long time.

I'm not saying Ince is going to be the answer, I'm saying he's an out and out winger which is what we should ****ing play for once. We never have two natural wide men playing always one and then Meyler on the right or something which is ridiculous.

We're close to signing Lennon and you think we should play 3-5-2? You're mental.

Interesting to me is if you asked any other football fan who our best player is they'd say Huddlestone. Why is it nobody else can see how ****ing woeful he has been for the past 18 months? I 'd put money on him going to Derby in the summer.

Jelavic never put on the same performance as usual yesterday but I put that purely down to him not being 100% fit, and that undoubtedly had a knock on effect on Hernandez' game, as he struggled to get involved. The only time I've really seen Hernandez look effective is when Jelavic has come off the pitch having put a real shift in.

As strange as it may sound, due to the fact that we currently have so few, my concerns are not with our forwards, they're all to do with the midfield. The midfield Is currently piling pressure on both defence and attack as its so ineffective all over the park
