This move could be the core of the whole Vilhena deal. I can see this being stone dead if they don't peel away the bullshit and just make the offer. It could even crumble if someone doesn't Sort it soon.

Back to the Ings thing, there has never been an instance when a club has signed someone then immediately loaned them back. What happens is the club sign them but put the transfer date for the end of the season. I'm pretty sure this is what happened with Zaha and Utd. So Liverpool could sign Ings but have the official date of the transfer be after the end of the season.

 

Yeah and I think it'd be quite unusual for all three parties to agree to that when the player's contract expires at the end of the season.

 

Could work though...Ings and Liverpool happy with the move, Burnley get money/promise of money instead of nothing, Burnley have Ings to end of season, and Liverpool have beaten everyone else to it. I could see that happening.
