Much as I would like to see a home win at Bramall Lane, the Blades home record this season tells me that, unfortunately for us, Swindon will beat them. Sheff U home record is very average with W5 D4 L3 with only 14 scored and 11 against. Swindon's away record is best in League One. I forecast a draw between Crewe and MK. So, unlikely we will be back in pole position even though we will beat Fleetwood.
Well everyone, you can see why I do not gamble on football or any other type. Two good results at Sheff U and Crawley. A win is vital against Fleetwood and then a very tough game at MK.
Aside from the MK Dons result at a place we've lost 1-0 at for the last 2 seasons, things went for us today Need to follow it up with a home win tomorrow and go back to the top. If we can do so we will be 10 points clear of PNE....that's a lot
Just got up and seen the results, quite surprising really, as I thought PNE & Swindon would at least draw if not win and I thought MK Dons would have a tough game at Crewe given their recent good run, but not so. Apart from the 5 goals which gives them a Hugh GD advantage over us, these were not to bad results. If and a big IF we beat MK Dons next weekend and win our 2 games in hand we will be 8 points clear of them so hopefully GD will not come into play, but as I say a big IF.
In reality, the real winner of the City v MKD game will be Swindon. Whatever the result they gain 2 or 3 points on one of us.
