Even I thought we were pathetic today. But even more so was the mass ****ing off from the west stand . I know it's up to everyone to leave when they want but felt pissed off by the amount who did . Roll on next Saturday....we can't play worse then we did today....
Sammy boy was blinded and chained up, then sat there impotent and useless whilst his hair slowly grew back. Actually that does sound a bit like Hudds current role in our midfield. You can always find hope in the Good Book.
Or maybe Bruce should do what he unwittingly did during the earlier rounds of the FA Cup last season, play what he obviously see's as the lesser players in the squad, at least they look as if they care. I can't help but think that our drop in performance, and consequently results, began when Bruce decided that he WOULD take The FA Cup seriously after all, and he replaced a few of the players that had done so well up until that point with players like Thudd, Livermore etc. Our form went into decline from that point and it's never recovered. It was a double edged sword, it probably didn't help the morale of the players that had taken us so far, and it confirmed to the likes of Huddlestone that he's a shoe in for the big games as long as he's fit, oh and not getting himself banned for four games to ensure a cushdy Christmas break!
Cortez...Are you on drugs? That display was gutless, clueless, pointless and ****ing useless. We'll do well to finish the season with 24 points
What an absolute ****ing shambles that was. There was no pace, no commitment, no endeavour and nobody had a ****ing clue what to do about it. That was, without doubt, one of the worst performances I have seen from a Hull City side in many a long year. As somebody posted earlier, some of the players are believing the hype that surrounded them last year.
Obviously we all hope that we do, equally obviously I don't think many truly want rid of Steve Bruce, however he needs to give his massive head a massive shake, either that or Phelan needs to, and he needs to sort out our midfield, with no urgency we'll win **** all I'm afraid, certainly not either of those games.
Norwich had won 1 of the previous 10 before Phelan went in there. They then won 5 of the next 7 (plus a draw). Let's hope he has a similar effect on us.
Well that was aweful, and bloody cold to boot. Even though we were ****e, if that goal had gone in, in the first half I think we would have seen a different outcome. We seem to go to pieces once we go behind now.
Disappointing day, think Bruce has hung his hat on the likes of Ramirez but the rest of the midfield are too static to help him out
Didn't Southampton pay 12 million for him two years ago. Two different managers over two years and he hardly got a game, maybe he's not that good.
I think a lot of you underestimated Newcastle. They have played some really good stuff in their previous three games under Carver and a result was always going to come, they'd been unlucky not to get one before today under him. I'm disappointed they got their first win against us, but we've been doing that this season, we've twice lost to the team bottom. Knowing us, we'll give QPR their first away win/point too.
They'd have been better playing the game before the main one if it was a normal 3pm (maybe timed to end an hour before the first teams are out to warm up) [12-2pm]
