...not exactly getting good value are we? <doh>

It seems that every team around us are currently doing there best to keep us up, but I'm still not convinced it will be enough, I think we look the worst team in the league at the moment.

Though I'm actually finding that the prospect of relegation isn't bothering me in the slightest, I'm sick of ****ers at Old Trafford/Emirates telling me to sit down, I'm sick of paying ridiculous ticket prices and I'm sick our owners bonkers bullshit.

So **** it, what will be will be, I'm past caring.

I can't wait for another potential Promotion battle. Also looking forward to winning a few games. Our last promotion season was my favourite season ever.

I don't like the situation, but the OLM's post is bang on the money.

We have "PL Quality" players who don't give a flying ****, and our Championship team who played with their heart on their sleeve either on the bench or performing elsewhere (just look at George Boyd/Koren).

    Could not agree
Couldn't agree more - we talked about getting a season ticket at Ferriby on the way home - after 40 years of solid support for City

I thought at the time that moving Boyd and Fryatt out was a bad move.

Is looking a bleedin' stupid one now.

That was one of the worst games I have watched. Let's not kid ourselves, Newcastle were not a good side either, mores the pity. 1-11 those players should be ashamed, as should Phil Dowd - a fine example of inept refereeing of the highest order.

Newcastle had the exact same form that we had coming into the game, 8 points in the last 40. They looked like a bloody Champions League team compared to us.

I thought Newcastle were very poor. First half we should have gone in ahead, second half was terrible.

I really don't get what Phil Dowd did massively wrong? He got the big decision right in disallowing the goal, there where no other really dodgy decisions apart from the Livermore one at the end.

The hardest thing to take is Newcastle wasn't any better.

They just took the chances we gave them.

He missed some key fouls, shirt pulling, rewarding throw ins the wrong way. Playing the advantage (which was good) but then not punishing the player that committed the foul.

**** it, I enjoyed the Championship more anyway. Premier League football is not even a contact sport anymore, and the refs are ****ing ****e.

    Roll on next season.

    Which time playing advantage?

I remember when he played advantage in the first half when Hernandez was fouled and he went back and booked there player about 5 minutes later when it went out of play.

I thought he was alright, hardly the worst we saw and he got a big decision right. He was consistent to for me, not booking Ramirez and then not booking Ameobi for a very similar foul.

The ref. was poor but it had no bearing on the result, we were poor and that is being kind to the clueless display we had to endure. As others have said Newcastle were poor but we made them look world beaters, they didn't have to get out of second gear to win.

At the moment to me we look the worst team in the division, unless there is a massive turnaround I can see us being the first team to be relegated.I am by nature an optimist but even I am struggling to find any positives at the moment.

I agree with OLM, past caring if we go down, not that I don't care about the team, but in the championship we hopefully will see players that care

the margins between turning our defeats into points have quite often been slender - even those games where we have been **** - our opposition hasnt been much better

its so frustrating that tiny single errors are costing us - yet we aren't having a pop at goal enough - Diame before his first injury was doing it and scoring , teams are doing it against us all the time - yet we are always reluctant to warm the keepers hands

Agree entirely. What the **** are we actually getting for that amount of money? As you say, not a lot.
How much do some of these so called primadona's want before they will attempt to give us a bit of value for money.

I do care if we go down, but I know what you mean. That was dreadful, really poor. Newcastle were way better, we had no belief. We have the players but this is a manager moment - Bruce has to get the players he has bought playing like a team. Second half was so bad it was embarrassing. Never mind, off on the hoy with my sane half; enjoy your night!
