    Looked clueless going forward early doors, so did Sammy (hasn't got much better) but he improved. One of his better games for sure but I'd still rather see Santon

    2 wins and a draw should assure us given the low points total in the league this year. Got 15 games left to do it, would take a special kind of implosion to fail to hit that.

    Draw half and lose half of our remaining games and we are probably safe. Any wins are a bonus.

    Keep our heads above water and just try not to embarrass ourselves.

    Fact is that despite being poor recently we are level on points with Swansea and only 6 points behind 'having an amazing season' West Ham but they are looking up and we are looking down.

    I think that win was about as good as we could ask for. Getting abeid, de jong, Aarons and santon back might be huge for us. Lots of last ditch defending though which probably would have killed us had we been playing a team with any confidence.

    A priceless win that gives us that space between the other teams. Hull's confidence is obviously near bottom and I doubt we would have won like that against most teams in the league but nevertheless well done to all. We really needed that.
