Even gone to complain to Dowd at half time and told him to watch it on the TV <laugh> I'd send him off for being so brash

What a shocking attempt at emulating Maradona. So relieved that one was chalked off, we usually fall victim to that kind of cheating.

Obertan on for Sammy for the last 25 mins please, his pace on the break could hurt Hull.

Abeid, Santon and Obertan need some minutes here. So he'll use Riviere, Gouf and Cisse <laugh> Anita has played ok. Sissoko pretty listless but has struggled to find space. If we get some pace and they gamble, he could improve and we could pick them off late on. Poor side Hull at present. I'd be worried if I was a Hull supporter, they have no game plan.

Stick him at the head of a diamond behind Perez and another striker (Riviere?). It would make us look very narrow but Cabella would get licence to operate. It would be one way to mix things up if the slow and ponderous 4231 wasn't working or if we didn't have speedy wingers such as over the last month. Dammit, should have thought about this one earlier.

Why is Jake Humphries talking about this Meyler challenge being a red? FFS grow a pair. Slowed down it looks a bit messy but if that is a red then we may as well pack up and go home. Its a physical contact sport, at times, **** happens. His intentions were good, it was just a poorly executed challenge.

Looks like the ghost of Pardew lives on ..looks like we are going to sit back for 30 mins and grimly hold on ..its not gonna work ..even Perez was waving them out at one point

Perez is going to be one of hell of player. Every game he oozes class... intelligent, works hard continually, timing, instinct. Its a pleasure to watch him

He's been decent. Though I would still rather see Abeid playing as he offers more strength.
