Jesus Christ, we're going through a little bad patch yet you'd think we're about to fall out of the football league all over again <doh>

Southampton are a CL quality side this season and are playing at home. We should lose this game by that respect. But, if we put our bad patch behind us, we might get something from the game. Have some faith lads <ok>

36 points from his previous 38 games would suggest so, not to mention the fact we couldn't beat a paper bag at home either. Although we've been poor under GM at times this season, at least we've been picking up points.

We all said we needed a new RB and a DCM. Monk has sorted out these positions this window, so lets see what happens over the coming weeks now.

"Although we've been poor at times,at least we've been picking up points".

See what this crappy Premier League, and all it's obscene money does?

It condemn's Club's to prostitute their style of play, with the hunt for points taking precedence over quality, integrity and honesty.

It depends what you want Vetch. Do you want us to always play the Swansea Way and do a Wigan?

Could ask if you want us to try to play like Stoke and do a Cardiff?

Come off it, we aren't that bad otherwise we'd be closer to the bottom. So far Monks style has been effective in getting us points.

    "Depends what you want,Vetch"

Well, what I want is for the ghastly Premier League to go away.
    Firstly,it ain't so premier.
Secondly,I want all the foreign owners, especially the ones with dodgy, stolen money, to have their licences revoked.
Then, after all that dross has been dealt with,I would like to return to a more level playing field, and allow Club's to indulge themselves in actually producing some decent home grown talent, and play with a freedom, and not worry about going out of business because they have had to pay over the odds for overrated, underachieving player's,who are basically just mercenaries.
    There's more,but I think I've answered the question.

    Basically,I detest the Premier League.

P.S. I've forgotten what "The Swansea Way" was. Thanks Garry.

Hull losing 0-3 at home to Newcastle, who are edging ever closer to The Swans' ,with only two goals in it now.

Is this the end for Steve Bruce?

I kinda share some of those feelings, I do miss that feeling at the start of the season that we could win the league. That will never happen in the PL as it stands. However, it still is the best league in the world in terms of excitement and glamour isn't it ? It's certainly better than Spain and Italy. It's just that we're not involved in the title race right from the off. That could also be the case in a lower division though, the only difference is that 'hope' at the start of the season.

I also have serious worries where Garry is leading us.

"However,it still is the best league in the world". Only if you believe the hype, and I don't,since my eyes tell me otherwise.

Ask yourself how many games this season have you considered to have been of Premier quality? If you are honest, probably less than 25%,and I'm being generous there.

    Glamour,what glamour?
Garry Monk's haircut. Andy Carroll's pony tail. Sam Allardyce constantly chewing gum. Costa jumping in the air and landing on an opposing player's leg.
Player's spitting;biting chunks out of each other;referee's being constantly harassed by player's;cheating, diving;numbingly boring interviews with people who can barely string a coherent sentence together.
    Glamour-yeh,such glamour.

Makes me yearn for a dirty weekend with your sweetheart,Ann Widdecombe. Now there's REAL glamour for you. <laugh>

The biggest problem in the PL this season has been the dreadful refereeing.
It's ruined more matches than diving or bad passing.

Hope the Swans can get back on track tomorrow. Really think we owe this team one, going to be such a big ask with the players missing, but be a good place to start!! C'mon you Swans...

Well,10th now,and only by virtue of two goals. So the decline continues.

A 3-0 loss tomorrow will mean bottom half of the table for the first time this season,if I'm not mistaken.

So,Garry, time to earn your massive salary, and get something going tomorrow.

    Fair comments Vetch.

Thankfully, the bottom 4 all lost, so we remain 11pts above the drop zone<cheers>

I hope Garry's master plan isn't built around how the bottom four got on.

The Swans' are fortunate, in as much that this season the P.L. is crappier than usual.

    <cheers><cheers>
