not a world beater by any means but a better full back than Simmo... just a crock and a baked bean.

He's past it. Simple as that. Same with Wayne Bridge. <ok>

Even in his prime(Brown) he wasn't a world beater, so I'll let the mackems have him! :1980_boogie_down:

Last 2 signings we made like this, Butt and Campbell didn't work out. Don't think many will think we've missed out with Brown either especially at £4M.

Brown is brilliant and you're all just jealous.

Ok, he's crap and you're not bothered. Can't say I disagree, but we'll see how he performs, I suppose...

Having lived in Devon for a large period of my life it pains me to agree with a Cornish man but this says it all :emoticon-0150-hands

He's 31 this year, would DEMAND over £50k per week and he's not worth anywhere near that. He's a signing we would have made a few years back, look where those kind of signings got us.

Have to agree with this, I've never rated Brown but he may do ok for Sunderland, they haven't done too badly up till now in the transfer market. I think Connor Whickam could be one to watch.

I think O'Shea is a better bet if Sunderland get them both. Wouldnt mind him here but Brown isnt worth the fee and wages he would demand.

Westwood too, always thought he was probably the best keeper in the Championship.

Is Lee Camp still really good or was it just a run of good form the year we were down? Always thought he'd be in the Prem soon enough, England was even mentioned.

This.

When you’re facing a rout, and you’re 30 yards out, Cheik Tiote!
From the Ivory Coast, squeezed just inside the post, Cheik Tiote!
He left Cesc Fabregas, lying flat on his ass, Cheik Tiote!
When we made it 4-3, he said leave it to me, Cheik Tiote!

I thought De Vries was outstanding, surprised he made a move to Wolves.

Would say a run of form wasn't good enough for QPR and Derby before Forest, but know a lot more about Westwood than other Championship keepers, and knew 3 years ago this keeper would be in the PL.

really lol, come on, why dont you act like an adult, instead of being a bitter twat, wes brown for the likes of newcastle and sunderland is a fantastic signing, and for the record, would get in your team.
