Or they think that sell him now and replace him with a couple of players would give them a better option to stay up and built the team up rather than lose him for pennies in the summer where they might still be in the championship with no money to replace.

Remember when Blackpool wouldn't sell us Charlie Adam so they would stay up? <whistle>

Yeah right oh, £3m for a couple of players gets you loads of quality these days doesn't it? Especially in January...........

PL goalscorers are like gold dust and this lad's got a decent record so far, there's no way they'll let him go this window, which is exactly what they've said.

Awful lack of transfer ambition if we sign Danny Ings and send him back on loan until the summer. He'd be a good signing to rotate with Sturridge for the rest of the season but as a regular deputy/partner he just isn't good enough IMO.

Not going to happen is it.

Always been a bit suspicious of young, flavour of the month footballers. Not saying Ings hasn't got what it takes though.
BR could well be lining Ings up for a summer purchase

Balotelli is different to Aspas. Balotelli does not fit our playing style so struggles. Aspas is just rubbish.

Only real bonus i can see from signing ings (if we actually do) is that his sell on value would be good.

We have much bigger transfer dilemmas to worry about than whether Spurs beat us to Ings

Yes lunacy and criminal damage charges

Off the field he's worse than the steaming pile he is on it

His only redeeming feature is he likes dogs

c'mon he ain't that bad off the field, I've known many a far worse 24 year old. Is he adotped? Adopted kids often have "issues" and this one has had bags of money thrown at him augmented with and less accountability

I will stick to his on the field nonsense cos off it he's not that bad, just acts the bollocks.
"Criminal damage charges" sounds far worse than what the actual crime was I bet :D

For 3 million it's a no brainer. A 22 year old ENGLISH striker. If he was to score over ten for us I a season then his price sky rockets to over ten million.

I don't understand why every player we need to get need to examined and critiqued to the full. Not every player we sign is gonna be league winner/champions league/worlds greatest players. You need a group of players who will work together and have quality and it's simple as that.

Smicer wasn't good but won us a Champions League. Wes Brown has numerous titles. The list of average players who worked hard and got the benifits are clear to see.
