We are still on just over half way through the season, with 42% still left. We are 2 points ahead of United and 3 points ahead of Arsenal. If we are in top 4 with 5 or 6 games to go, then it will be a massive shame if we don't get champions league. Right now I am just proud of where we are and how well the season has gone.
I only meant it would be a shame because we aren't going to get many chances at it. I do think we have a chance as it is in our hands...the ones behind have to do better than us.
I wonder if Pelle missed a few games, if opposing teams would know what to expect? Their approach to the game would certainly be harder for them to work us out. * I don't want this to happen*
Don't worry about being unpopular, but if you're going to write something like that, then at least explain why you don't think Saints will be in a similar position. What will change..? Do you mean league position, squad strength, etc..?
I think that as although I don't think we will finish top 4. I'm quietly confident of a Europa spot (Chelsea can help here, as could others in FA Cup), which will be fantastic but our league form will no doubt suffer a bit. Also, other sides won't be as poor next year. I'm certain of it. This is literally our best chance (imo).
I get it's your opinion, but mine is different. I am not out right dismissing yours, I am arguing against it( in a polite way). I see no problem with two people agreeing to disagree.
Koeman: "Jack Cork is now in Swansea. The club offered him a deal but he would like to play more games & I can't guarantee that"
I consider that to be one of the better reasons for moving. Good luck, Jack. If I recall, you were the one player to play every single game in the Championship. Vin
This is pretty admirable of Cork if he has turned down a good deal because he wants to play more. I only hope he does play more (in the long run) at Swansea as I would rather see him on our bench than theirs. Thanks Jack for your professionalism and your effort in taking us from the Championship to where we are today. Thanks also for the great debates you caused on here. Please, please, please send Lff a signed photo inside a valentines day card; the poor man is going to be desolate
Thank you Jack for you massive contribution to our rise. Three and a half good years, now go help swansea beat the nasty teams trying to chase us.
Don't forget to take your nice sofa with you.... I hope you get the first team chances that you have wanted. Cheers Jack.
Selling Jack now if he wants to leave in the summer makes sense for everyone. Corkie is far too young to stay here and pass the time...I wish him the best of luck and a great career.
It will make Sunday interesting and hopefully he will be there. You may even have both sets of fans singing "there's only one Jack Cork" before the game...
