Since Ive been logged in Ive had 28 email notifications, Im not watching any threads and Ive also selected the no email option Highly annoying!
astro pointed out to us to go to Alert Preferences and deselect the things you don't want alerting about.
Ive done all that mate, it isnt the alert thing on the top right its actual emails to me Ive unticked receive emails and unticked watch threads, unticked receive email when someone replies etc As I type this Ive just had another 4 emails
You've definitely unchecked this one? If so, try turning it back on and saving, then off again and saving. Also log out and back in. If that doesn't work, the site's ****ed, burn it down and start again.
Yeah its definitely unchecked Ive already done what you said a couple of times, ticked saved then unticked and saved again
He could just tell everyone who emails him to make the subject "not not606" and set up a filter to only read those emails
I could just "add sender to blocked senders list" This is an option if I right click the email and select 'junk' Will that work? Never had to block anyone before
DR what a nuisance. I've had a few problems with not being able to delete comments and comments jumping into other threads, but no emails, so I think there are still glitches that the site needs to sort out.
