Steve Bruce could have a quartet of returning players to select from when the Tigers face Newcastle United at the KC Stadium on Saturday. Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez are in line to boost Bruce’s attacking options with the strike pair having taken part in a number of training sessions in the past week after knee and groin problems respectively. Gaston Ramirez, who was an unused substitute against West Ham last time out, is now fit while Andrew Robertson could also make a return from an ankle problem that has kept him on the sidelines since New Year’s Day. Alex Bruce, who was withdrawn during the defeat at West Ham through injury, also has a chance of being fit for the visit of Newcastle. “It looks like we might have some back,” said Bruce. “We’ve been away for four or five days and managed to get some training into Jelavic, Hernandez and Robertson. You can add Ramirez to that list too. “It’s not ideal and we’d like another week for all of them if we’re being honest, but as long as they come through training today it looks as though they’ll be ok.” James Chester (shoulder), Mohamed Diame (knee), Liam Rosenior (hamstring) and Robert Snodgrass (knee) remain sidelined through injury. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...-to-increase-2235832.aspx#evuM4gqQqwEGjqKd.99
Greegsy Elmo Dawson Bruce Robbo Livermore Huddlestone Ince Ramirez Brady Jelavic Either Jela or Hernandez up top, whichever is the most fit to be honest!
Reading between the lines, it looks like were bringing them back a little too early, even SB states he would have like another week, fingers crossed it doesn't backfire.
This is the team I would go with as well, as long as all are fit and not being rushed back. Alarm, alarm, alarm, alarm, alarm!!!!!
