Yes, really. Preaching to kids!! Nauseating!! I'm sorry but I find the whole tone of the post unacceptable. Its shallow because the sentiment would not be repeated in front of Dean Windass and I do not believe that Deano's appointment warrants this.
You are right I have. I read Omegas reply thinking he was slating Deano. I never saw it was him replying to PLT.
Any of you would have taken this role, with the name change row ongoing or not. Deano loves the club and just because he has a different opinion to some on here regarding the name change it is no reason to forget all he has done for the club and the great memories he created. To be an ambassador for the club you love is an amazing opportunity.
And now we all know why he started spouting the gospel according to Allam.... Sorry Deano you have sold your soul & lost the respect of a large number of City for a few pieces of silver
We might love being Hull City AFC ambassador, but Allams lapdog & Hull Tigers, I don't think too many would want that job He can hardly love Hull Tigers.....he has never played for them
It is already happening........just how many times does Hull appear in the article compared with Tigers ?? Allam is trying to wipe the name Hull City from the map (FA decision or otherwise) by repeatedly brainwashing people by not referring to the club as anything but The Tigers
I very much doubt he's earning a 'great wage', he's doing it because he thinks it's a route to a coaching job. Unfortunately, he's going to be disappointed.
Good job we aren't called Hull Tigers then isn't it. Oh **** off, he'll be getting decent cash for doing a job at the club he loves.
"It’s a great honour to be an ambassador for Hull City." "The great thing is I love the club and I will have the best interests of Hull City at heart as I go about my work. " "Hull City has always been my club – since I was six years of age - and I look forward to working with the owners and all the office staff to try and promote us across our region and beyond.” Dean Windass could have said "The Tigers", "The club", but he chose to use Hull City. He deserves better than some on here are giving him.
"Hull City, or Hull Tigers, or whatever you want to call it" - Maybe you should listen to the whole interview.
I don't want to be picky but I think it makes a difference, he mentioned Hull Tigers first. "To see all the Indian kids wearing the shirts of Hull Tigers or Hull City whatever you want to call it"
