The intent was there, he could have, it should have been a straight red. In the same way players raise hands or head butt. No need to reply - you're wrong.
Rightyo sunshine. So you think anything that shows intent should be red carded, and if it was missed/ignored by the ref the FA should take action after the game. So you think Skrtel and Gerrard should be up before the FA alongside Costa from that game too as they both got away with actions that ordinarily, would, by the rule of law, meaning a red card for each of them and the 3 game ban. This witch hunt you're keen on would mean after each game, a panel sitting for every game in the PL, and having retrospective bans dished out for players almost injuring others. Would make team selections fun wouldn't it? Actually, now you mention it, that might work in our favour as teams above us would end up losing some of their better players hopefully.
Stamping on a player is a red card, the ref missed it, so retrospective action is being taken. It's not complicated.
So is going in with your head to another player. That's not complicated either but it was missed/ignored and nothing is being done about it, because there's no witch hunt against Stevie G.
that's because the ref that's because the ref saw it and booked him - you don't seem to understand simple concepts do you - do you wake up in the morning and think 'how can I act like a **** today?'
I'm not on a witch hunt, it's the laws of the game. Something you seem quite oblivious too. You are a ****ing irritating ****. You should change your name from 'Happy Tiger' to 'Thrush'.
Three game ban... Diego Costa will serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect after a charge of violent conduct against him was found proven by an Independent Regulatory Commission on Friday 30 January 2015. The Chelsea forward had denied the charge in relation to an on-field incident involving Liverpool’s Emre Can which occurred in the 12th minute of the League Cup semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 27 January 2015. The incident was not seen by the match officials but caught on video. http://www.thefa.com/news/governance/2015/jan/diego-costa-banned#28TQXeWwfHpoW4dt.99
Let's hope he's the first of a few, if not, as 'appy says, it's gonna appear like a anti-Chelsea witch hunt. Chelsea seem to be the only one's with a bad rep for diving (which is certainly bollox) + had Mourinho done to Wenger what he had done to him, he'd still be serving a touchline ban !
