    Hopefully no one!

We probably need to pay off our FFP fine & half our wages for next season.

M'villa will be a 6 month mercenary we will pay huge wages for. Thoroughly unimpressed in his last two clubs and would only be coming for the money. I wouldnt let HR buy or sell anyone. Letting Mutch go is pointless and counter productive to replace him with one of Redkanpp's classic 'quick fixes'. We will be left picking up the train wreck after this charlatan is long gone. Dont let him do any more harm

Scott Sinclair would have been a decent signing. Can't believe, with our threadbare squad, we haven't got anyone else in apart from Zarate. Watch us get a couple of no marks from Spurs at the last hour. They way our club is run honestly defies belief

I very much hope 'arry et al has learnt from previous windows, where he has talked too much about targets, and that he is playing his cards closer to his chest this time.

That said, there had better be "irons in the fire" or we are f...ked.

I cannot believe they are not working hard on this, but the proof will be in the pudding.
Over to you Harry, last chance saloon.

The player isn't half bad. But his character is well dodgy imo.

This is a player who decided to go out partying in France the night before a U21 qualification match away to Norway the following day. They subsequently lost and Norway qualified instead. Him and two other team mates got thrown out of the side and never played for the U21's again.

Could he work short term? Maybe. Would I take the risk and financial gamble? Afraid not. But Harry will, you wait and see.

We've 3 CM out of contract in the summer & sold Mutch. I believe we're re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic!

I heard that story many times, but in an under 21 year old, it's not so unusual. George Best was the master of that a few years older. Has M'vVila done anything else you know of to make you think he is "well dodgy"?

Yeah I knew about the U21 thing.

I've always thought he was a good player, but hardly the right sort for a relegation fight I would have thought.

Him signing for Rubin Kazan with the options he had tell you everything you need to know. Money grabbing mercinary. When you go down that road as a 22 year old it tells me all I need to know about his ambitions.

Only reason he would sign for us is if we pay over the odds. Been there done that, hope we have learnt. Apparantly not with the sale of Mutch.

Didn't M'Villa turn us down last year or just ignored us as he wanted to go to Italy? The only reason he will come to us now is the amount of money being thrown at him.........

I like the thinking behind this and it makes a lot of sense. He is more of a left sided player though, Emerson Boyce filled the right berth. He left Wigan at the end of last season when his contract ran out and is now back home in Chile playing for Colo-Colo.

Knew there had to be something amiss......you're right 9's he was on the left against us last season, it's just for some reason I thought he played on the right side for Chile when they played at Wembley last season.......although I'm probably mistaken.

    Big mistake selling Simpson IMO.
In Harrys 4-4-2 he could have played RB, Isla RM and then Vargas upfront. Have you checked out his goal scoring record for Chile. FFS and we stick him out wide.
We have no width at all which makes a winger a priority if Harry persists with 4-4-2. DT is right, a new RB would allow Isla and Vargas to play more forward.

You want a right back...if we're going for investment then these guys. Both would have to be permenant moves though and may cost a few quid which we can't do:

Anyone can play right back it's such an easy position to play. Until we sign them, that is.
