Alec Chamberlain made the latest save ever by a Watford keeper in the Play-off Semi-final at Birmingham City when he made the concluding penalty save at 10.44 pm ?
In many countries poverty dictates that children may have to sleep in cardboard boxes, yet there is one country where this practise is considered normal. Which country and why?
I think this could be Finland. All mothers to be receive a maternity package from the state, which includes a cardboard box.
Cheers BB. The British Empire was the largest ever in terms of percentage of the World's land area covered. But which was the biggest in terms of percentage of the World's population (at the time) ? For a bonus where was its capital and what was its state religion (ie. the closest thing ever to a World religion) ?
Was it one of the Chinese dynasties? Possibly the Tang Dynasty - although they had about three religions...
Archaeminid Empire out of Persia in terms of population, 530BCE for about 200 years. Zoroastrianism would be the religion.
That's the one Fez. The Achaemenid Empire - grounded by Cyrus the Great ruled over an astonishing 44 % of the World's population. Zoroastrianism was the state religion - although he allowed complete freedom of worship within his realm (even established a bill of human rights !). There was a large degree of autonomy for some regions but the actual capital was Babylon. Over to you.
Born 1946, in what is now a semi-autonomous part of Tanzania, and arguably the world's most famous Zoroastrian, who am I?
Quite right Vic, I had a good clue if it had been needed, "Initially sounds like a rave drug!" All yours sir!
