It is public knowledge (he wrote it in his autobiography) that in the early days, he/his people used to drive to Dover get the ferry to France come back and 'claim' goods were non UK. This progressed to just driving to Dover and going round the roundabout to just no going at all. ..to avoid tax. He then got caught and his parents bailed him out so he didn't have to go inside. *details above may be sketchy and slightly inaccurate, but it is the general gist of things. It is in his book, so publicly out there.
Let's not pretend here. Any one of you, given the opportunity to loophole your way out of paying some taxes, would take it.
Yes . If you are not breaking the law , distasteful as it may be to others , you are doing nothing LEGALLY wrong . Change the Law .
Can we stop talking about tax. I work for a French division who don't pay my tax at source ..... I have just this week paid my tax bill
Murray made the Aussie guy the other night look like the boy that he himself was 6 years ago!! Wonderful to see the way he has matured!!! If titles were decided on sheer talent and variety Murray would be the winner by a country wide mile. However, Djoko brings strength, stamina and willpower to the court.......
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-31035435 Tax evasion etc does anger me as much as things like this !
Had to go out just as he began to hit back in the 2nd set, so hope I can catch the final. Murray produces some of the best returns in tennis...doesn't know the meaning of giving up on a ball.
