The Godfather

Watched it all and have to say it is one of the most over rated films ever. Utter pash, mumbling bunch of nonces.

James Caan looked like one of the Village People.

Very poor film indeed.

Brando gets paid millions for bumbling about muttering away to himself. Chronic acting all round basically.

 

ER telling it like it is since 1932

 

I was waiting for a thread reminiscing about Churchill's funeral. Dev would enjoy that!

 

Damn, I forgot that was on last night.

Would have been infinitely better viewing.

 

ER was just surprised to see the actors talking. And in colour.

 

Brando doesn't talk - he just mumbles.

Apart from On The Waterfront and A Streetcar Named Desire every one of his films have been pish and the **** can't even act. The butter in Last Tango In Paris had wider range of acting abilities for ****'s sake.

 

Part 2 is excellent

Part 1 is ok but too long

Part 3 is ****e

 

I might agree but for De Niro. One minute ye think they guy is a genius the next ye think he's just repeating the same twitches. He's probably my favourite actor but ****ed if ah can work the **** out.

 

Brando was brilliant in Get him to the Greek.

 

As does roasted cheese.

 

Part 1 was ok, Part 2 not as good but still watchable and I agree with you on part 3. Total and utter pish.
