Bloody marvelous. I can't believe how ****ing clueless our club is. **** piece of business. Only thing that could repair the damage is if either Deeney or Gestede are brought in. That Ighalo fella at Watford could also be handy. Always been a talented lad since I first saw him when he arrived in Norway as an 18 year old. Now he's outscoring every other striker in the Championship. He did very well for a struggling Granada side in Spain last season as well.
Exactly! We finally have some assets of interest to other top flight sides, what do we do? We ship them out at a loss after six bloody months! Six months with struggles I might add. If Pardew fancies him then that should be the first clue to keep him. Pardews track record when it comes to signing midfielders is top notch. What we'll get in is another short term fix, loaning yet another unmotivated primadonna. In every other business it's known as asset stripping.
General press consensus is Harry's got it wrong and can only work with players he's had before (Adebayor is latest). The jokes about Harry and our team are really getting embarrassing now and there was one on yesterday repeating all the 'triffic' tosh we hear every week. If Adebayour does arrive at Loftus Road that's us down the pan for sure... http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...-big-mistake-with-reported-jordon-mutch-sale/ http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...sted-in-adebayor-it-could-end-in-total-disa/?
I'm not a Redknapp fan but I reckon he's only done this to get funds for a striker (whether we get one or not is another issue). We don't have many players that we could get any sort of money for, so he's sold one who hasn't made the first team yet. It is a **** up to sell a player at a loss after six months but he's still papering over the cracks from failing in the summer window. He hamstrung himself.
I do think there's a lot of value in knowing who our rivals are interested in (both within and outside our club). Given our apparent lack of genuine scouts, we might do better that way than picking up players that are unfancied and released by Spurs and West Ham. It's an obvious case of players on the up versus players on the decline.
Sorry, we can't sell Sandro to anyone for at least 6 months, he and the family has just sailed off for a round the world cruise. Those dam recurring injuries!
Tbh mutch has not had the opportunity with injuries , not being picked and even when he was picked he was sometimes played out of position or not fit enough to be picked. A talented young player who should have been developing well at QPR. Says alot again about Dino and his backroom staff. Very poor outcome this for us. so obviously Mutch was NOT one of the young players that we want develop to move away from being a buying in that spiel that TF gave the other day. i am now really under the impression we are heading for big trouble the way we are managing our club at all levels from the top down. god help Monday with Dino hanging out of his Range Rover window giving the fantastic news of some "top top" signings . Rumours i hear is Crouch could happen plus two loans midfield and right back. Pretty upset if Mutch is going. Surely getting rid of SWP should be priority number 1 not young players. we really appear to be a totally mis managed club.
Contrary to what appears to be the general consensus on here, I'd just like to say that I'm not in the least animated about the prospect of Mutch leaving.
Think it's ridiculous if mutch goes good young player that hasn't really had his chance at qpr. Harry if facking this team up
The thing that amazes me most about this thread is just how contradictory it is to the thread about Rednapp's signings. On there most slag Mutch off as a uselss Rednapp signing, so we offload him and it's still a bad move. Schizophrenia has definitely taken over some of our fans.
You really couldn't make this sort of thing up........next he'll be selling Charlie to fund the purchase of Crouch/Adebayor, you read it here first......
Neither has Dino. He should be played as an AM more on the right. Thats where he was at his best for Cardiff and others
What if this is correct wouldn't be such a bad swop QPR set to sign £5m Blackburn striker January 29, 2015 please log in to view this image QPR are reportedly closing in on the £5m signing of Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede. The Benin international had previously been linked with a move to The R’s Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, but that seems to have fallen through after The Eagles manager Alan Pardew signed Shola Ameobi instead. That has meant that Rangers boss Harry Redknapp, who is looking to strengthen a side that has solely relied on the goals of Charlie Austin, has taken pole position, and he is hopeful of completing the move before Monday’s deadline. The 26-year-old has scored 13 goals in 26 appearances for Rovers this season.
Now that would be a decent bit of business, although are we sure it is actually him because we thought we were getting Junior Hoilett last time from Blackburn and I'm not sure who we got...................only joking.
I don't think Mutch has been given a fair crack of the whip and i think it's a backwards step to sell him but to the Crouch detractors...i think you're wide of the mark. He could be a very decent, albeit short term, signing.
