To be honest I don't think he can help what he looks like I personally don't think he's trying to injure people deliberately, he just plays like Suarez in that he tries to get into the oppositions heads and take their concentration off the game itself. There wasn't enough downward force on the 'stamps' to hurt Can or Skrtel in my eyes.

Trying to provoke them into reacting and losing their heads? IDK, I'm not Costa so its hard to say, but I defended Suarez for much the same things, it would be really hypocritical of me to totally condemn these sort of incidents now that the shoe is on the other foot.

I agree to a point. Suarez was a pain the arse and a lot of what Costa does is similar. He did cross a line with the stamp on Can and should get punished but in general I like the way he puts himself about on the pitch and have no complaints about him.
I think you could argue that Costa does it far more frequently than Suarez - Suarez would have mental moments of madness but these were isolated. Whereas Costa seems to do snidey things every match. Personally - it doesn't bother me. I wish we had a snide in our team who would rough up the oppostion,. I'm a big fan of Costa.
