22 year old forward player. Serbian. Plays anywhere across the front three. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nternational-Filip-Djuricic-loan-Benfica.html DTLW
Looks promising DTLW - we certainly need some cover in there with Long gone. I've not heard of him before. Can anyone shed any more light? Any FIFA nerds?
Isn't it a nice feeling having this little black box? Unlike most clubs, when an unknown player looks to be signing, we aren't questioning who he is and wondering whether he'll be rubbish. A definite feeling of optimism when new names are linked. COYR ... edit - most of us aren't questioning who!! haha #dontquestiontheblackbox
Don't know much about him, but he is highly rated. He was very good in the dutch league before he signed for Benfica, Koeman probably knows him from his time there (I think it was Heerenven or Twente, can't bother to google it)
I know we've all had our fingers burned with De-Riddergate but from the video he certainly looks a talent - good turn of pace and comfortable with both feet. £32M buy out clause would suggest that he's very highly rated too.
Koeman would know him from his time at Heerenveen. He was great for them, but haven't seen him since he moved. He is skillful and was a good little passer for Heerenveen, if I remember rightly he set up a fair few goals.
Not to sound all negative. But all Portugese teams put in stupidly high buy out clauses into contracts. It's how most of them make money if the player turns out a star.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that if we had wanted to buy Djuricic we could have done so for a lot less than 32m. Still, seems like a decent move. He's got some talent and Koeman has seen him and will hopefully know how to get the best of him.
Spot on, they've found their players have been easy to poach; this is very much a new thing in Portugal but seems to be very much the craze
