Not sure when you last came to CR but it's a cantilever stand with no obstructed views. You take your life into your own hands when you visit the Portaloo - absolute wreck of a stand
and you lot call me biased and blinkered! first with hughton, then with adams, now with whats his face, and now with our ground!
I can understand 1p5wich fans being a little wary of shelling out 40 quid for a Norwich game given the way those fixtures have gone the past few occasions.
Yes there were a few priced at £43 because they were nearer the halfway line, the majority though were priced at £37. sorry for pissing on your parade!
How is that pissing on his parade? £3 cheaper for a seat in a shed that's falling to pieces! I know who I think is being ripped off, and it's not the same as JWM's version!
Oh good god that £3 difference is just so tragic. And, you know, the normal rules of supply and demand are not applicable when there's a chance for faux outrage and snidey digs. So the fact that Carrow Road is always fill to bursting whereas Portaloo even on derby day was several thousand shy of capacity just should not be mentioned... The bottom line is that WCP is spot on - all football tickets are massively too expensive. But £40 to see us at Carrow Road represents substantially better value than £37 to see Ipswich at theirs,
I'm going to reserve judgement until the game has been played.. If we win I'm sure you would consider the £37 spent on a day out at Portman Road as being better than even a free ticket to see your lot lose to us It's fair to say that football is beginning to eat itself with the prices being banded about in the 2nd & 3rd tier (!) of English football being in the £30+ bracket
Dave how do you know what our stadium is like when you never go to any of your Away games! I see you are just happy to follow the opinions of others without actually knowing the facts as usual.
We ripped Norwich off, they rip us off are my thoughts. Norwich fans, check out this link. Ties in with what happened when Schalke put the prices for their derby up with Dortmund a few euros......... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8986321.stm Would us English have the balls to do that? Thought not. Hats off Germans.
Fair enough although I am a bit surprised as you're not a season ticket holder and I thought that they would get the priority over the average punters.
Do you travel to the 'Mother City' much these days to visit friends etc.. I only go to Ipswich for the football I couldn't bare to live there!
