Scholes was 20 when he made the first team, Giggs got the odd appearance(as Pogba did) but didn't really break into the first team until he was over 19, they were all treated the same. Unless you think Fergie thought Scholes and Giggs weren't good enough either?

Sorry for being a touch rude as it was a fair question. Yes he is a league one player but you just get the sense that he could score goals at a higher level. His goals are varied and his movement is very good in and around the box. When you see the rubbish that is being mentioned with Hull City this window and the prices being quoted Doyle would not be that much of a PL/wage risk. He wont be on much at Chesterfield and the chance toto play in the big time with the players we have already should be a no brainer for him. Unlike Rhodes who is happy to stay on easy street we want players with ambition. Yes it is a risk as with anyone but a risk worth taking. Having seen Doyle a few times this season he has always impressed me hence why i keep banging on about him. The only other strikers that we have been linked with that would add to what we have are Dame N'Doye and Diego Forlan. With Senegal now out of the SFNC N'Doye would be more realistic than Forlan imo. as always, twt........
I think we should sign 24 year old Danish winger/striker Christian Gytkjær, as he's second top scorer in the Teppeliga and has a nice beard. Bigger clubs and possibly male grooming product manufacturers may also be after him...
