Given the lack of atmosphere (what there is , is sometimes hostile and that is hardly surprising) is it an actual advantage to be away to Fulham in the replay and the maybe away to Bradford, the away support is much more vocal and seemingly more advantageous imo. What do others think?

Footnote: the mags home support is also awful if you listen carefully it consist of one bloke meekly tryi ng to shout 'united'.

I think we need to be careful not to let this become a cold hard fact.

IMO, the atmosphere isn't openly hostile, just a lot of frustration.

I do agree that the away support is excellent though, the atmosphere at Bradford would be incredible.

When the sol is buzzing its amazing, will never forget the great escape, there are many others that stand out, thing is football is an entertainment business and expensive for fans and we have seen 1 home victory all season, folk forget who we've faced so far, 9 top 10 teams i think (without checking)
I have taken friends to games from down south and each time they have commented on the great atmosphere, saying that they've never seen a defeat funnily enough.
But the away support is on a different level, 3000 or whatever together all prepared to lose their voices.
Imho the club needs to shift the away fans again, concourse as far south as possible

You cant beat support like this, always worth 10 minutes of your time

Yes it will definitely be better playing away, the atmosphere at the ground these days is non-existent, especially in front of the away fans.
I totally agree they should shift them again but I don't think it will happen.
My seat is in front of them, I'm 66 now and I've had it since the ground opened, but then, the North Stand was intended to be the home end, therefore no concessions for pensioners making it one of the few areas in the ground where concessions aren't available.
Its not too bad except when the mags are there chucking all sorts of things down .
I won't be renewing my ticket this season because of this reason as I think the club are being unreasonable, this area should be the cheapest in the ground.
I've written to everyone including Ellis, Gus and even Quinny but no response so I've now given up and will just buy a cheap pensioners ticket anywhere in the ground and sit in my seat if its vacant.
