I'd totally forgotten about this idiots comments on MOTD2 - he said if he'd been in training with Rosicky and Rosicky had looked on way then passed the other against Neville then Neville would have 2 footed him just to tell him to sort it out!!! He's such an idiot, but this is a horrendous thing to say, especially when the 'no look pass' was needed to wrong foot the defence and wasn't showboating. And even more so when directed at a player whose missed a significant part of his career because of injury!

I think he later claimed somewhere that he was only joking, but I guess with a humourless twonk like Neville it was hard to tell at the time.

He said he was being tongue in cheek, but the way he said it was totally deadpan and serious - even when the presenter was shcoked and asking him if he was serious!

He wasn't joking he was just being a c u next tuesday!

Phil Neville is a grade A prick. **** knows why they've given that chump a job in TV, they might as well as given it to some clueless simpleton you find down at the betting shop.

never get the problem with show boating...ain't the point of football to entertain YOUR fans...if players don't like others showing of then either don't play or get better so you can do it to them.

It's that sort of mentality that has held back the English national team for ****ing ages.

Good God, I'd forgotten about Stan Collymore as a pundit. Robbie Savage is an annoying ****, but at least he has some insight into the game.

If you look at Phil Neville's Twitter timeline you will see that when Rosicky made that pass Neville tweeted what a brilliant pass it was.Whilst I agree that it was a stupid comment to make I accept that Neville's comment was tounge in cheek

He'd have missed the tackle anyway. Rosicky would be in no danger.
