And when was that? Can you point me to a single season where he had double digits in terms of assists? Wilshere has never ever been a brilliant creative midfielder. He's just average with some good moments, aka Stewart Downing.
Yep I'd take that any day of the week. At home we should have enough to get past Middlesbrough. If Liverpool get through, they have a tricky away tie at Palace who are flying under Pardew atm.
We shouldn't underestimate Boro, they beat City 2-0 and could have easily won that game 4-0 if they put away their golden chances.
Care to show otherwise, please do bring up his goals-assists stats over the couple seasons when he has been playing for us. He is so overrated just because he's English.

Somebody has already posted that chart and it was pointed out that it's hardly fair to compare those stats to the team when he's been out injured for the majority of the season
Fabregas in 1 season with Chelski has racked up more assists than Wilshere in his entire career, so we may wanna cool it on calling Wilshere a 'great' creative player.
Fabregas has played in practically every game for Chelsea, so you can't really make an accurate comparison.
In his ENTIRE CAREER, not just one season, so playing more than Wilshere up until December and having more assists in that period than Wilshere's WHOLE CAREER. And who are you kidding man? You think if Wilshere played as many games as Fabregas this season, that those stats would be any different? You seriously want to try and contend that Wilshere is anywhere NEAR Fabregas? Wilshere isn't even fit to lace Fabregas' boots and thats a fact.
