Obviously not, I think he'd cut it in the PL with us, however if we had to go down, which is looking likely unless we sign a couple of players pronto, then Fraizer Campbell would certainly be a player that I'd love in our ranks in the second tier. No matter what you may think he'd demolish Championship defences, as he did last time around. He paid all of his dues to us, lest we forget, with one almightily ****ing brilliant left wing cross at Wembley. Without that we may STILL never have seen our team play in the PL...and still the numbnuts boo him!
Pardew personally doesn't rate him, it doesn't mean the player isn't good enough for us. He's obviously good enough for the Premier League, he even got an England cap in the not too distant past so to say signing him would be asking for relegation is complete bollocks.
He's obviously not rubbish, but his Premier League record is pretty poor(1 in 10)... Spurs - 1 in 10. Sunderland - 6 in 58. Cardiff - 3 in 37. Palace - 3 in 17.
Looks like the scouts we sent were to watch these two play: Hull boss Steve Bruce has made no secret of his desire to bring in another striker to bolster his options and help the club climb away from a relegation battle. The Tigers have seen their frontline decimated by injuries to Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez and Bruce is eager to find some cover. Caen pairing Sloan Privat and Lenny Nangis have emerged as possible targets and Bruce sent scouts to watch them in action over the weekend. The Ligue 1 side raised their game and the duo both got their names on the scoresheet in a 4-1 victory over Rennes to move off the foot of the table. The Premier League outfit have been linked with a few possible candidates but Privat and Nangis would appear to be their most affordable targets in the January window. https://www.clubcall.com/hull-city/caen-duo-on-tigers-wishlist-1756476.html? I don't know much about Nangis, but Privat was touted as France's next big striker, he was at one point compared to Henry. He signed a lucrative four year contract with Gent in 2013, so he'd probably cost a fair bit. If it was going to happen it'd be in Summer. Here's the complimentary YouTube vid: From that video it appears clear as to why Brucey wants him in, pretty much all those goals were headers.
I didn't realise his record was that bad to be honest. That's not good reading. EDIT: I mean Fraizer.

Fair enough, but he was out for a year and a half with an ACL at Sunderland, think it was the same year that he put four past us in pre-season. He actually got 6 in 37 for Cardiff, which isn't much better, but if he can manage 6 for us between now and the end of the season we might be alright.
Plus the thing about Campbell, if he's the same Campbell as he was, he never gives up on a lost cause, he will pressurise defenders into mistakes that will lead to chances not only for him to score but also his team mates. Personally I'm struggling to see anyone better being linked with us at the moment.
I have no doubt Brucey has a big list of potential targets, but if Campbell isn't needed at Palace, there's a strong chance we could nab him on loan, in which case his goalscoring record doesn't play as bigger part as he's only filling in part time until Jela and Abel are fit.
Kim Bo-kyung had his contract terminated by Cardiff on Saturday, I thought he was one of their best players last year, if he's available on a free he's got to be worth a look, although I don't doubt there'll be others looking at him.
Remember Fraizer spent a hell of a lot of time playing out on the wing at Sunderland, I think that's where Spurs played him too, and most those apps were subs weren't they?
Yeah, he got a bit of a raw deal at Spurs as he was sent there as part of the Berbatov deal, but then they already had Pavlyuchenko and Bent by the time he came in and then in january they signed Defoe and Keane, so he had no chance.
Sometimes it's just written in the stars! I don't like him, I didn't like the way he celebrated scoring against us, but he is a very good player. If he came here and scored a few he would put right a few wrongs.
At Spurs they were almost all sub appearances, at Sunderland they were half and half, at Cardiff they were almost all starts and at Palace they've been mainly starts.
Caen pair Sloan Privat and Lenny Nangis have emerged as possible targets Bruce sent scouts to watch them over the weekend. They both scored !!!
