I'll give Tyson one thing, he was unmatched in the Rapey department. If it came down to rape alone he'd beat Ali but maybe not Smokin Joe.
Aye that guy Clay. Him that they stripped the world title offy and then he came back years later and won it again. Of course that never happened because according to Hong Kong phooey Tyson is the only boxer ever to do that.
You don't need to use the word "fact" to present facts Do the newsreaders say "fact" at the end of every report? Does the classified scores on Saturday sound like this? Arsenal 1 Southampton 0 FACT Aston Villa 0 Liverpool 3 FACT Chelsea 2 West Brom 1 FACT When David Starkey is telling us what a twat Henry VIII was, does he say FACT? Every thing you've said about Tyson and Lee has been presented as unequivocal, with no "IMOs". There's nothing wrong with having conviction in you opinions, but to criticise someone else for doing the same beggars belief. Re Tyson, your blinkered idolatry is no different to that exhibited by Lee worshippers. Many boxing experts and pundits don't even have Iron Mike in their top ten, but you, a random Irishman off the internet, think you know better.
Aye I heard they tried to send him to Nam while he was still Champ That's like Conscripting Tiger Woods 10 years ago.
Tyson was mostly known for his power to the casual fan, but Tysons defence was great, and his foot speed combined with his head movement and hand speed where downright amazing. It's not often such an aggressive fighter has such a brilliant defence, and that's what made Tyson so special. Even top defensive boxers, couldn't hit Tyson when he was moving forward at them, as he was such a brilliant mover. And once Tyson got up close and personal, he could turn the fight into the brawl he wanted, and there was only ever going to be 1 winner. This is why he had ripped through the entire heavyweight division at the age of 21, the guy was a supremely skilled boxer. He was without a doubt one of the most talented heavyweights of all time. Only Ali is worth comparing in terms of raw talent
Of all the insults that have been thrown at me during this debate, this one has to be the worst! I am not ****ing Irish
Plus Shergar only spells Ragrehs backwards. Which sounds like some kind of sand people town in Lebanon
Stop talking about something you know nothing about. If you actually knew anything about racing you would know that there is no point in comparing the 2. Red Rum was a 4m4 handicapper who jumped big fences. Shergar was a 1m4 Grade 1 winning flat horse. You might aswell compare Mo Farah to the 100m hurdle winner whilst your at it?
