7/10 isn't a bad film, it's just not brilliant as some have suggested. Each to their own of course. Just watched The Imitation game 7.8/10 great stuff and an amazing story.
Loads have said that it goes a bit wrong at the end but I liked that part and felt it an obvious way to go, its was the middle section of the film that I got a bit bored and felt that the story lacked pace and momentum.
Prob cos they are God awful at car info now? I must confess however I much prefer that to fifth gear with is dull. We're they wearing Falkland flags on their lapels last night?
ah chile... i was wondering but hadn't the care to actually check. I still say some argentinain footballers should have been made to apologise.. In fact sergio aguero should be made drive the reaosnably priced car anyway................ That new Lamborghini was savaged last night but when it was driven... by the stig of course it looked an absolutely beast going round the track. I dunno... I thought i looked like a bloody lambo and went like stink... I mean they are the first guys to whine on a big road trip that the car is uncomfortable over long distances.. Remember james may in the aston martin that had no ari con etc and he went round pretendinf to be in the nip.
To be correct that was where the crew escaped to. Not sure what happened to the presenters but they didn't go with the crew but seemed to use them as a decoy so that they could escape.
They pretended to record some crap about being trapped but then got a full police escort in plush limos and flown on a private jet home the crew had the small matter all their filming gear which was worth many 100s of thousands to mind. They should have just burned the three cars themselves Its patently obvious the plates were deliberate as its such a bizarre number there must be some record of the personalization of this car out there.
“H982 FKL" c'mon deny it all you like that is just.... http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/2014/10/10/top-gear-in-argentina-what-really-happened/ ..... unbeleivable even though the vehemently deny it. FKL... falklands. 982.. 1982.. to have the two deeply suggests it was a personalized plate. the tihing is... ok stupid.. ok.. whatever... the police and thugs down there are worse.... far worse
The Lambo Huracan they reviewed is more restrained in looks than prior Lambos. Don't think it was as bad as they were making out though. The lines make it look like a more 'traditional' sports car, compare it to an Aventador or a Veneno for example and it looks normal. I actually think the more conventional lines and looks helped it on the track aerodynamically and contributed to its fast time, the fastest Lambo they've had around there, the other models I mention can't have the best aerodynamics due to their somewhat unusual design. But if you're watching the show for car reviews and actual informative advice then you're watching for the wrong reason. It's not about that at all.
Never understood the whole car thing. They get me from A to B. I want one that works and is reliable, other than that, couldn't give two ****s. Not sure about the rest of the country, but certainly in Milton Keynes you can notice a direct correlation between Low IQs and people who like cars. "Im ganna go croozing in ma Scooby.....ya ****!"
I personally like the lines.... Especially the front end and ok SURE some lambos have a massive mad spoiler stuck on the back and if thats what guys want fine the sculpted body to do the same job is not leery enough. I think the fonrt of the thing and overall shape is very fine. I agree... its no been about actual cars for what oh 22 seasons now. 5th gear is where that stuff went. When clarkson faield as a tv host and returned he made it a magazine style show about acting the mick and interviewing celebs and tiff and the spiv and the chav went and did their own show. I find half of firth gear very dull and honeslt the other half can be predictable with plato and needel tool round. Top gear on the other hand has got a wee bit predictable in what they do but it's still laugh out loud. I mean c'mon the combine harvester with a flame thrower was hilarious last night.............. james may... driving what could only be described as a hair dryer said and i quote "buffetting" everytime he drives faster than he'd like he says this... electric renault... bugatti veron... ... buffeting.. honest to god. i had to laugh.
These shows need to start coming back on. Penny Dreadful, GOT, Walking Dead, True Detective, etc. Marvel Agent Carter isn't too bad, Flash is decent, Sleepy Hollow is OK but not sure where it is going after one season basically defeating the ultimate baddie. AHS: Freak Show finished. Supposedly all of the AHS are meant to intertwine, we saw a bit of it in one of the episodes but not really anything else.
Not getting the proper Top Gear over in the good ol' USofA then?? Will be good when they return though
Walking Dead will be back in a couple weeks. GoT Season Premiere is usually the same night as the Walking Dead Season finale, which is around April. True Detective won't be here until late Autumn (March-April time if I had to guess) I dont think, as they havent even announced a start date yet. Shameless US is on at the moment, and Archer s06 has also just started
I thought it was a good looking car. But I also agreed with Hammond Hamster that it wasn't as crazy as Lambo's normally are. But it didn't deserve to be written off like that. Never watch Fifth Gear... dull as fook. And yes TG is very predictable, even down to the race last night being something they've already done but to see Hammond spill on his bike like that because he couldn't ride it over a tram track And the return of the Hover Van of course that nearly ate up some bemused Russian beach-goers. Priceless.
Not big on Shameless but the mrs. likes it. Our Top Gear isn't quite the same, however I have somehow hooked myself into the DIY network and learning about the many arts and crafts of fixing a house up lol.
