Speculation about where we'll be in hundreds of years tends to assume that nothing changes and current trends continue ad infinitum. Invariably, this is not the case and, if anything, drastic changes happen nor regularly in the modern era.

There's already a significant amount of paranoia and I don't think it helps the Muslims or the traditionalists.
