    I don't think we should read too much into this nor worry about it a great deal.

    Although Directors they were purely administrative with neither being relied upon to contribute financially to the running of the club.

    If Short wanted his own man in this position I reckon it would have happened before now, plus we had never heard of these two before they took up their roles and I doubt we will hear about them again, nor in all probability will we have ever heard of their successors - just not that type of role.

    As Walton seemed central to transfer activity could it mean that all the major deals are under way and his input not required - just a thought.
