Just been reading that Grayson is after Lichaj. Was a very good player in the short amount of games he played for us so I would be more than happy to welcome him back.
Good news but not great news. RB is our strongest positon in deffence and we should be looking for a natural LB and maybe a CB. Lihaj did a great job when he came in and even as a LB but he surely wont want to play out of position all season?
If we could get a season long loan it'd be great, but I doubt McCleish would allow a player he's never really seen before leave on loan. He'll probably be at Villa for pre-season if he's going to go on loan, so we might get him in August sometime. They've only got Luke Young as a rightback at the moment though, so they might want to hold onto Lichaj. If we can get him on a permanent it'd be a great signing.
I thought Lichaj was decent but had room for improvement, a couple more forwards runs would be nice, he formed a deadly partnership with Snoddy too
Would be a thumbs up if we signed him on a permanent deal, a season long loan I am not so sure, I really don't like Graysons way of relying on the loan market.
from what we've heard Grayson is planning on not abusing the loan market this season. And Lichaj works fantastically well at left back. Despite not playing there naturally, he plays better there than anyone we've had in a long time.
