Hmm, that wasn't too flash was it? Didn't get the match here, maybe thats no bad thing. Looking at the team he put out, Jose was obviously not interested in winning ,or was seriously deluded about the opposition. Either way, that's one comp we threw away. How could anyone expect a team with half the players not having played more than 10 mins in a month, and only knowing the player beside them because of the name on the back, to actually perform like a team? Quite a humiliation for the Club and not exactly the way to build confidence and give experience to the youngsters. This has probably set several youngsters back heaps. Not the smartest bit of work Jose has ever done, assuming he does want to win things like the FA Cup. Trouble is, you never know with him !!

It's not going out of the FA cup that bothers me. It's the thought that Bradford will probably go out to Preston or someone like that in the next round. Ha.

We shouldn't be losing to Bradford...ever..especially at home. That DOES bother me.
Going out the FA Cup I couldn't care less about.

Just one of those things I'm afraid. I'd swap today for 3 points against City anytime.

Indeed but my post, as you can see, was aimed at a particular twat who rejoiced on our board after our defeat which was far less of a shock compared to yours!!! Think you get the prize of worst comeback ever, just makes it even more funny trying to compare the 2!!!!

Of course there's a comparison. Neither can beat third division teams at home.

....exactly and a League Cup final also beckons. Mourinho had to save the bulk of the top players for the upcoming Liverpool and Man City games, Bradford benefitted from this. It's written in the matchday programme that we lost our only other meeting with Bradford in the FA Cup.........but this was when Bradford were the FA Cup holders in 1912. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Bradford and Millwall remain our FA Cup bogey clubs - we've never beaten them in the FA Cup.

    "Bradford benefited from this".

So,what you are kind of inferring, is that Chelsea put out a weakened team.
You have better, more expensive player's out on loan than Bradford could call on.
If that was true, then guess who misunderestimated,(don't you just love that Bushism?),Bradford.
Always something unseemly about supporter's who play the "we had a weakened team" card.

I think what he's saying is, of course Chelsea wanted to win but with so many big games on the horizon the team that Chelsea put out lacked the hunger and drive that Bradford exhibited in the second half.

I caught a bit of the pre-Bradford match action on TV - little Blackburn banging out Premiership Swansea. :emoticon-0116-evilg All those empty seats.....where were the Swansea faithful ????!!!!!

Hats off to Bradford - they deserved the win and they packed out the Shed End. Bradford had their day, now it's our turn - hopefully - against Liverpool then Man City. COYB

You come on this message board as a Jack Jacking Off over our loss. The reality is it could be curtains for Swansea with regards to Premiership football if you don't improve. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Unfortunately,I caught most of the Blackburn match.
The crowd was abyssmal for a Fourth Round tie,so that would indicate either,a)apathy on behalf of the footballing public towards the F.A.Cup,b)financial restraints, people feeling the pinch,or,c) Swansea not an attraction in the North West. Take your pick.
I understand over 500 Swans' fans' were in attendance. Poor "faithful" sods.
Blackburn were too much for a poor Swansea team, and were worthy winners.

I well remember Bradford's support in The League Cup Final a few seasons ago. They were quite outstanding.

Hope they go on to win the F.A.Cup,knocking out a few more big fish. <cheers>
