So you'd have rather we forfeited our games in the CL earlier in the season as well as the LC game and FA cup game in the last round so we don't have to play too many games and can concentrate on the league? I'd rather my team play as many matches as possible this year. 1, more chance of winning some of those competitions, more chance to win them if you're in them than if you're out. 2, gives me the chance of watching my team more during the season 3, gives young players more chance to gel this year in prep for next year when we can mount a more serious challenge on top 4 and the cups.

Like many have said, we just needed that goalscorer and without Sturridge, we don't have it. Unfortunately, until we offload some of the garbage we have, our squad is too cluttered to buy another forward so we're stuck with what we have until summer. It also looks like Markovic is becoming a huge influence in our attacking play. Although he makes poor decisions with the final ball - and he'll learn as he plays - he's the start of most of our direct and fast attacking plays.
