The last points about formations not suiting all our best players are bang on and our big problem with Defoe needing to be in a 2. In a ideal world I like 433 but with the Defoe issue I'd use 4231 and have Connor playing behind Defoe I know it's not ideal but I think he can offer a bit more than giacch but he only trumps him on presence in attack when joining the striker

Ok, ta. I thought we'd only used it at Spurs.

Still, i'd keep trying it with Catts, AJ and Defoe in position before reverting back to 433 or trying 4231. It's not like 433 has been sparkling.

Could be a good night out down there.

Chance for the London lads to get in to a match cheap instead of Arsenal & Chelsea prices.

This is a cracking option if there's a few going down, http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/hot...89b0773138ebdc29e933X1;highlight_room=4175705

It works out about £30 inc yer brekkie, half an hour's walk to the ground and some canny pubs/food nearby.

The walk takes you past the Fulham Cross Cafe which was a proper Cockerney knees up cafe when we stayed down for the 4-1.

Went in a couple of good pubs last time too, just south of the ground. Well worth a cheeky jaunt is Fulham

Seems like it. Flabbergasted as to why, perfect opportunity to be adventurous. Yet more mundane footie.

For a man who says he has no more excuses, i don't know what the **** he's playing at.

talk is cheap, the must not lose syndrome has taken hold,it will be costly as the thought of ever more negative tactics and team selection hits home to the paying customers its understandable that very soon some serious questions will have to addressed if we are to remain in the top flight .
Im sure the players are better than what this negativity is suggesting about the squad,at times when we fall behind we look good but it takes this going behind to activate the offensive play ,why wait please give it a go gus .

Hope you don't mind fella. It's from the stay or go thread but was more suited to this thread possibly but explains why I think he bottled it. <ok>
