Looks to have lost the dressing room, time for Monk to go before it's too late. Monk said we lost our style and philosophy and that's why Laudrup had to go, well if this is the swansea way, there's only one way we'll go DOWN. Appalling team selection, no team dicipline no stylish football, absolutely awful.

Thank you John Hartson, basically everything I said, so I am not alone in my thoughts on it.

So we lose Sig for 3. Ki still away. We now would prefer Fulton starting over SHelvey, but that's never going to happen

I've see Sig's tackle again - he hit his legs dead from behind. Def Red

Not sure about red card but needed to keep Carrol on to control possession. But even so Swans were again sloppy . Our passing and control has been poor all season and am afraid these recent results were coming. Now without Bony's goals, hold up play and defensive headers we are in trouble. 28 million will seem like very little compared to 60 for staying in Premier.

shocking 2nd half performance, I know we were down to 10 men but there was absolutely zero composure on the ball and zero desire to look for a goal until it was too late. were were taken apart by Chelsea last week and now this - Monk and the playrs are going to have to dig deep in the coming games or we could quite easily get sucked into a relegation battle. absolutely not good enough on any level.

PL survival it is then , because that's what beckons , that was a strong experienced side out today but we're shapeless , no ball retention , movement , willingness to want the ball .I'd say Monk has lost the dressing room , too many players not showing any commitment and this hasn't just started , we've ridden our luck for a while now and now it's coming to the boil .

and we sacked a very good manager.

Blackburn players and manager being very complimentary and winning with dignity. (take note Chelsea)

If Monk were Japanese,he'd do the right thing, and fall on his sword.

Mr Miggins agrees with you too :) Hope you're right because it'll mean the red card will be rescinded.

Why has Monk got to make an excuse.. Bartley got sent off not Monk and the sending off after 6 minutes meant that we were unable to attack as fluently as we would have liked and meant we were weakened in midfield. and couldn't put passing movements together because we were always under pressure. Siggy's sending off was a bit harsh even though the tackle was a bit reckless. Gomis was crap and now we can see how good Bony really was. Fab's fumble didn't really make much difference to the result.

I know that you all probably have more pressing issues at the moment, but what the hell happened to Iwan Roberts, half-time pundit?

There are too many poor performances this season for it to be the players imo. Lets look at who has declined at an alarming rate.

Dyer - for years he has always been consistent and attack minded, has gone to pot this season. Truly awful.

Routledge - Both our wingers who have been such a threat in the past are looking toothless in attack and terrified to take on a man.

Shelvey - Had a good season last year, scored some top goals and was involved in a lot of our build up play. None of the previous apply to this season. Has been a walking disaster.

Rangel - Used to love attacking and had a lethal partnership with Dyer down the right. I never see him marauding down the wings anymore. People say his legs have gone, he has only been playing football at a high level for 7 years. Theres no way he can go from being one of the best right backs in the league to one of the worst in the matter of a season.

Taylor - Hard to judge as he did suffer a nasty injury that kept him out a while. But the argument for Taylor while Ben was playing was that Taylor had the defence nailed down while Ben was more attacking and not so great defending. Again, what can we say about Taylor this season? His defending has been pants for the majority, his attack non existent.

Our wide players are the ones that have taken the biggest hit. For me its down to coaching and management rather than the players themselves. They have all proven that they are more than capable in this league, so why isit now that they are all so blatantly struggling? Something is very wrong at the club and im afraid that the buck stops with the manager. We have lost our style of play, our discipline and our drive to compete. How many second halves have been better than the first? If things dont improve and improve bloody soon, we will need to get a new manager in. We can't go in to next season playing like this. We will go down without so much as a whimper.

We still had 4 defenders though, and we shipped 3 goals.
