You brought it up you touchy chav Anyway, your figures are already out of date as Arsenal signed a massive new deal with puma at the start of the season and renegotiated a huge new deal with Emirates for the stadium naming rights. Also you made a ****ing Tit out of yourself by posting that out of date article on your OP on the other thread about Man Utd.
In all seriousness I think Chelsea have done quite well to get their revenue streams up to a point where they don't have to rely on Roman pumping them full of rubles, probably just in time too with FFP. You can't deny that they were given a huge leg up with the money but fair play they have b(r)ought success to Stamford Bridge and they are now a big club with a worldwide following. In some ways the spuds must be pretty jealous of Chelsea. Roman was thinking about juicing the Spuds before he bailed out Chelsea, but as we know even with a ton of cash, the spuds still find a way to piss it all up the wall. So maybe Roman did the right thing by not ploughing his fortunes into the Spuds as they would have still gone out and bought **** like Bentley and Soldado
Is this supposed to be serious?? How the **** do you think you got where you are fortunate enough to be now?....
The Chavs were two weeks away from going into administration before Roman bailed them out. Without the Sugar Daddy they would have gone down the chute like Leeds.
**** me, how low can somebody sink ? You know things are bad when you're an even more **** wum than HIAG.
Yes the Roman leg up came at a time when we were £97mil in the red and its was only Matthew Harding who kept us floating. Of course it can only be conjecture whether we would have gone bust or not but I feel a property in SW6 with a trendy team who were just qualifying for the champions league wouldn't have taken a great leap of faith for some ultra rich individual to come on board. On another more laughable note do you think that Bentley and Soldildo were the worst buys in premier history or do you feel D-Minus and the sick note dwarf could rival that pairing?
As I remember it Chelsea were weeks away from Administration, where the club would have been in the hands of Lawyers (real ones, not like HIAG) and accountants who would have asset stripped the club to pay the debts. Like Leeds, that would have meant selling your players to raise capital and reduce wages and it's entirely likely that Chelsea would have been relegated (especially with a points deduction) and found the ladder back up extremely hard to climb. Leeds have never recovered fully from their financial crash and are on the ropes again today. Anyway, worst prem buys ? The spuds have got a few to choose from. Rebrov springs to mind and Bentley was another chump who thought he was miles better than he was. They also pissed most of that £110m away on dross, Erikson and Lamela look decent enough and I'd expect big clubs to come in for them if they keep up their form. Soldado at £27m though has to be one of the worst. But then Chelsea spent £50m on Torres ....
You put a brave face on it, PESKIE, but everyone here can see things for how they really are. Sure, I'll throw you an easy one to keep you occupied, but that's mostly me having some fun with you (although you consistently fail to see that). On the main arguments, however - the ones that really count - I'm the Daddy. And, deep down, you know that.
Yes we did spunk 50M on golden boy but tbf and his goal against Barca took us to the final in Munich and he has a winners medal which is something that no present Spurs or Arsenal player will do in a life time. So with the revenue that helped bring in plus the shirt sales it wasn't the catastrophe everybody thinks it was. Read more: http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=534027#ixzz3PgyHjaJm
Off the top,of my head, the one transfer that made me think, is this a joke?? When the Mousers were dumb enough to give fat Mike Ashley £35mill for that two legged donkey, Carroll. Mind you, The Chavs had been dumb enough to pay £50mil for golden bollocks, so maybe the madness was catching. We paid £13mill up front for Soldadudo - admittedly still not great value. The rest was add-ons, the vast majority of which have never been activated, for obvious reasons. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-for-loic-remy-and-jay-rodriguez-9453440.html
Carroll was a absolute Turkey for Liverpool and never anywhere near his £35m tag. I remember thinking that Liverpool had totally mugged Chelsea over Torres and then they went and blew most of it on Carroll. As for Torres having a CL winners medal and it being something that no present Arsenal player will do in a lifetime. Well ossie my friend, I don't know if you've had one glass of Rioja too many, but that could be a claim along the lines of one of HIAGs many gaffes that that have come back to haunt him. Another Prem flop of note: juan Sebastian veron. Flopped at Utd and at Chelsea. How much transfer money was spent on him in the prem ? Got to be even more than Torres ?
Really? How do you know that a **** chairman would not have Why? Do you expect £42m flop Ozil to win Champions League soon?
