As a footy fan I've really enjoyed the battle between these two as of late, they seem to really relish the physical battle and it's all out war between them when they are on the pitch together. Costa is a sly, dirty wind-up merchant as well as a hard man. You need someone to play him at his own game. It is quite fun to watch- just like the old days- trouble is, one of them will get sent off at some point and it's usually the defender. An attacker can chip away until something happens, a defender has to get it right every time.
Funny you should say that as it reminds me of a conversation I had last week (admittedly quite a drunken one) about how I'd rather see Skrtel play up front for us than Balotelli....and even after sobering up I still think it makes a certain amount of sense At least Skrtel can score and he'd be a ****ing pain to defend against for 90 minutes

He can score with his head, not sure about the other end though. He'd be more of a threat to the spectators than the goal itself.
Costa's one of those players you'd love to have in your side. An extremely talented striker who's also a right handful and never gives the opposition CB's an inch. I think he's boss.
Unlike Baloteskey?? We play footy with a lad we now nickname Balotelli because he just shoots every time he gets the ball (and very rarely gets it anywhere near the target). As you can imagine we all hate having him on our team so know how the Reds players must feel every time Mario plays
