Were he to be transferred in this window (and that still seems doubtful, as he won't have gotten to play since returning), any idea whether we'd be reinvesting that money immediately?

Talk of rivalry between Spurs and Liverpool for JRod's signature. Only talk of course, but at the very least we'd want top dollar to make up for loss of his services this season. If he is bought this window, we must assume that he is further along in his recovery and someone has been telling porkies. I would be surprised if anyone bought him without a few games under his belt though.

 

He can ride pillion if they offer £30M. I'll personally take him to the club of his choice.

 

Sell Jrod for 25m, bring in Danny Ings on a free. No huge weakening of the squad and 25m up on the books. Nice.

Would like to keep JRod but if he doesn't want to stay and play in our squad having taken a years wages+ huge amount of medical staff attention then more than happy to move him on for £25m to sit on the bench (if he is lucky) for Man City. I would be sorely disappointed in him if he does to be honest

If a team buy Jay now they are insane,I can't see it myself. But if they were then I can't see why not. Same with Cork I think we will sell him this window if he doesn't sign a new contract.

 

I have a good friend who specialises in knee operations and he reckons it's physically impossible for a player to undergo extensive ACL surgery and not lose any pace. He really does rely on his pace and power so could be a huge problem for him

 

I think we'd be better keeping Cork even if he doesn't sign a new deal. I'd rather have him help the squad finish as high as possible and be there in case of injuries than sell him now for a few million and have a thinner squad.

 

Do they plan to sell Cork?...I thought they just want an answer, so they can plan better for the summer if he isn't staying. Unless we want something now, rather than nothing later. But even that depends on there being an offer on the table from another club that suits Cork...otherwise he might as well sit it out.

Depends if he doesn't sign a new contract and a team makes a 4-5m bid, I could see it being accepted.

Piece from Holland about RK's interest in Dutch players (as he said in a recent interview). Mentions that we tried to get Depay but he wanted to stay in Holland...they suggest we will be back for him in the summer.

 

Would love to see Memphis Depay at saints, but that would give us 4 left sided attacking midfielders, so is it at all realistic? Surely we signed Mane when Depay said no?? Now with Tadic, Mane and Elia (if he stayed permanently) we wouldn't really need depay (unless he played on the right!)?

Inter suspends Osvaldo after he misses two training session. What is it with some people? They are their own worst enemy. Not being picked....keep your head down, work hard and then negotiate yourself a deal that suits you. Sulking isn't cute once you are past two.
