Did you ask him about Lennon? If we balked at £4m for McManaman, presumably were not really interested in Lennon for £7m.
Lennon will be a loan but I think Spurs want to sell. Unless we can convince them otherwise, this won't happen. One of the signings will almost certainly be a loan sp if we see Dame N'doye come in, expect the AM to be a loan.
According to the Mirror on the wall.. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/hull-looking-pip-leicester-cut-price-5025822 Decent striking record for last 2 clubs 2009–2012 Copenhagen 104 (59) 2012– Lokomotiv Moscow 66 (27) 8 in 24 for Senegal..
2.3million for n'doye ???? 5 mill for McManaman, Bruce gave him his debut in 2009, rumour is he's already had a look around last week....
mcManaman has played 26 times in the prem and scored twice, his first goal for Wigan would you believe was against us in the FA cup in 2011....
Cue obligatory youtube vid. First goal is a proper twat of a strike. But after that some smart finishes and headers!
I dont see why we need macmanaman, when we have Tom Ince! If we start him in the correct position, i think he'll be a good player, sign ndoyee and get ince playing Bruce, could Elmo not play through the middle!....im not part of the Bruce out brigade but i do feel some of his decisions this year have been crazy, yes we have injuries, look at who is available and play them where there gunna be effective!
I asked about Antonio, he said he hasn't heard that one, but hasn't looked into it either. I didn't ask about Lennon, but he said Bruce wants a striker and a winger, but doesn't have a lot of cash to play with. I imagine if we could get Lennon at a good price though, Brucie would be knocking on Allam's door asking for a bit more. But if Lennon is going for a good price, you can bet your house that a number of other clubs would be interested.
Do you think bruce has rang up this particular journo to tell him about how much he has to spend during this transfer window and who his targets are? Are you sure this journo isn't making up his claims based on the very same evidence we all know.
If finances are so tight and he really is insisting an bringing another wide man in why not forget the fees McManaman and Lennon would command and have a bash at getting the winger Bakery Sako BS in from Wolves ? He's got 6 months left on his contract and would now cost a fraction of the other two. (Gave up after 15 minutes of trying to get auto correction to let me spell out his name)
Ian Abrahams (Moose) @BroadcastMoose Wigan's Shaun Maloney is close to joining MLS side Chicago Fire. A second bid has been turned down from WBA, Hull are in the running too.
