Hello new poster here, as well as a striker or two I think we are really in need of a right back and maybe left back as well, do we have the option of recalling Connor Townsend?.

 

Agreed, I thnk we should be looking at a central midfielder, a right winger and a goalkeeper as well.

Surely it's not too much to ask?

 

Trust they have more success than we did!

 

A midfielder in the Koren mode is sadly lacking, what we don't need is another that offers very little in the final third.

 

They'll want more that. The Sako one Is more likely, although I suppose Antonio isn't at the ACoN.

 

I don't think we need another midfielder like Koren - he was often lazy and invisible. It's only because he's gone that people remember him fondly IMO. When he was at city I swear he was the butt of most of the abuse given by the crowd. He did score though.

 

Already got a tune for him should he join City.

 

Out of contract in the summer I think.

Makes sense, they've got the Bony money to spend and need a striker. I wish we could afford him. The worry for me is that our relegation rivals have either added to their firepower or are linked to the same ones we are. I don't doubt we are working hard behind the scenes, but we are more than halfway through and there's been very little movement. I know Jelavic and Long came out of nowhere, so I'm not worried just yet, but it'd be great if we have a little news this week.

 

I think it's possible we were a more attractive prospect this time last year than we are this year, and had more money to play with. So if worrying about it is worth it, I think it might be time to worry! Have a feeling getting the new Assistant Manager might be the best signing, and if it is Phelan, wonder if it will increase the chance of getting a Man U loanee?

 

Darren fletcher odds on to be a west ham player before close if the window. Good or a bad thing?

 

Darren Fletcher might be a good signing in the Summer if we stay up in terms of squad improvement, but a holding midfielder certainly isn't necessary right now. Indeed in our precarious position, I think it would be very unwise.

 

We have plenty of midfielders that run about for 90 minutes I meant a player like Koren someone who can find space and time on the ball in and around the box.

Lets hope this puts it to bed. Cos the last thing we ****ing need is another left footed wide man, who at a pinch can play down the middle but not well enough to do the job we need.
It' d ****ing mental to have a 4 in midfield of Quinn Hudd Jake and elmo. A CF, new player or Jelavic and then a subs bench of Aluko, Ramirez, Ince and Brady. 4 players all waiting for one spot.
Stop ****ing about Brucey and sign two centre forwards.
