that's the championship for you, It wouldn't surprise me if going into the last game that 5 clubs still have a chance for the top 2!
A date for our diaries - Sat 14th March!! These are some of the Championship fixtures that day - Middlesbrough v Ipswich (12.15), Brighton v Wolves and Norwich v Derby
No idea if true, but wouldn't be surprised if Forest and Norwich together have been top for more weeks than anyone else this season!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30808434 Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy: "We have to give Brighton a lot of credit. "It was not going to be easy. Brighton played well in the first half and we didn't do well with the goals we conceded. "We've had one or two players missing through illness and injury and perhaps Brighton have gone up a couple of percent because they are playing us."
As Beefy would call it" The Leeds effect". Brighton must have been scrambling over swapping shirts at the end to frame and hang a mighty binner shirt in their living rooms.
fair call Rob, but you must admit its better than bleating about decisions by the ref like some managers/clubs do all the while! could be worse, all us Ipswich fans could be claiming how many points we will win the league by!
I like the full unedited version! http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/26687/mccarthy-they-were-ready-for-us
I imagine that's why Southampton played so well beating Ipswich? That must have been a massive scalp .
I wasn't objecting to it. I've always felt one of McCarthy's skills is dealing with the media. It just amused me. I agree he's definitely honest - and he was here. It's just the way he phrased his honesty!
